"Truly wish I could give a 1/2 star due to the LACK of communication, LACK of respect, and absolute PISS POOR customer service from Spencer Sias. I reached out to Spencer, owner and only employee of 406 Transportation, to have a very small mobile home moved and he gladly accepted with a very reasonable priced offer. I paid $532 for my deposit, which was half of the total that he asked for, for the service on May 4th and had been trying to receive my refund for a service I was never able to get. As of today, August 17th, I was able to receive most of my deposit back but not all as he chose to keep some due to "all the stress" I caused him. Reasons he gave for delay in transportation: wasn't sure what truck to use, the truck he chose to use broke down, the part took 2 months to get in, and in the end he just stated that he was backing out to take someone else business because he was behind on them. For almost 3 months, he kept telling me that he would still get to me as soon as he could. He would send me receipts that he refunded my money but nothing ever showed up, tried to mail a check I guess but that also never showed up, and then he set a day to give me cash back but yet again, he never showed up. Excellent pricing but that's all I can say positively about Mr. Spencer."

"If there was a way to leave zero stars, I would. Spencer, owner, provided a reasonable price to move our mobile home and we placed a deposit and set a date for transport within a reasonable time frame. When the scheduled day arrived, we were told his only truck for transporting our house broke down and we were told it would take two months for repairs. We were ok with that delay. When the time for completed repairs came around, Spencer provided excuse after excuse and ended up backing out of moving our house because he no longer had the time, even though he still held our deposit. We had to request a refund of our deposit, and it has been several months of more excuses on why we did not have our deposit returned. He would tell us it was in the mail, but we never received it, etc. From an owner of a company, the communication and customer service have been the worst I have experienced. If you as an owner/operator back out of a deal, the expectation is that do everything you can to make it right for your customer and refund their deposit immediately, not retain it for a month.or longer. We would not recommend Spencer or his company in any aspect. If you need something moved, don't waste your time!"
