Reviews of Greystone Vintage Market
"Love the variety of the high quality of bath and beauty products. Awesome place to stop and visit. Highly recommend, check out the unique building."
"This unique shop is a must! Stopped on a whim today with my mother, it was time for a break during our 4 day road trip. We not only found some amazing treasures, but also had an encounter with a truly amazing owner-operator-woman with a kindred spirit. Thank you for sharing your vision and story."
"I went in out of mild curiosity with my partner and two girls (5 and 6). The first thing we noticed was the old-fashioned stone wall we passed through, and the similarly quaint stone pathway leading to the entrance. It felt like I was stepping out of 2021 when I went through the gate. In a way, I was. The first impression upon entering the store came from Eloise, the younger of the kids. She exclaimed how GOOD it smelled and rushed in with the wild abandon only a child can manage. I slowed her down, because the shop is packed with interesting and unique items and I didn't want her to inadvertently destroy anything. After that I noticed the smell myself. It didn't smell like a place, but like a time. The music playing softly in the background furthered the illusion that I had wandered out of 2021 and into some old shop in Britain, Ireland, or Scotland. Then we met the proprietor. A woman who had laid down every stone of the wall outside, and who was incredibly happy to show us around. She had the openness and sincerity that I assumed you only read about in old novels. She approached as a human being, not as a vampiric salesperson trying to drain us of cash. She gave us the story of her shop, and enthusiastically showed us her wares with obvious (and well-earned) pride. She never made us feel obligated to purchase, but came across more as a museum curator, just happy to impart her knowledge. I can honestly say she's one of the most interesting people I've had the pleasure of meeting. She helped me settle on a candle for my reading nook (one that smells amazing, and brings back childhood memories of chopping wood and Christmas). The girls were raving about these little bars of soap they found (in various shapes and scents). She let them each pick one out, which absolutely made their evenings. I got myself a quaint little globe, and I definitely had my eyes on a little model sailboat for next time I visit. I'd honestly have paid the same amount of money just for the singular experience of that little shop and the amazing owner. Thank you for a unique experience."
