"I shopped there with my girlfriend for an extension cord. Paid for it and left, then girlfriend realized she left her phone so we went back to get it. As we enter the store we were greeted by Summer, whom was being extremely rude and disrespectful to us as well as the other customers there. They made us both go upstairs into the office where we were met by manager (KAREN) who completely disrespected us. We were deeply offended and had no clue what was going on. She then went on to tell us that she had contacted the police and tried to have us arrested for stealing. I quickly showed her the receipt and proved to her that it was purchased by me. Thankfully I had my receipt, had I not have had it I would have been spending the night in jail. That's just bad business practice and very shameful honestly. True value used to be a good store but currently its completely mismanaged. BEWARE DOING BUSINESS HERE!!! MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR RECEIPT!!!!!! I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. Only a matter of time before it happens again. It could happen to you. STAY FAR AWAY. Spenards has a much better selection and far more professional employees and management. I will never shop at True Value again. They should just change the name to True Valium because thier management is smoking crack."
