"This is an awesome ski hill. The chair lift workers are great and super patient with new learners, the ski instructors are also very good with kids. The main reason for the poor rating is the lack of customer service. The rental ladies handing out boots and skis were extremely rude. We recently had a school day trip planned out, and I admittedly screwed up and ordered too many tickets at the discounted price. My chaperone tickets were cancelled because I was told I abused the system (in front of many other families). I apologized multiple times, and told the gal I would pay full price for my ticket. Discovery definitely needs some help with their customer service skills. Also, the whole RFID system can be confusing especially for people who have never done it. There is no patience or help offered if you have an issue."

"Nice place to ski and snowboard, ski trails are very wide and allow you to ski freely without worrying if someone else is in the middle... The snow was not fresh so that made ski a little more difficult. The lodge is very warm but a nice place to take a break. They sell burgers and fries which are just ok, clam chowder, and some others quick snacks."

"What a diamond in the rough. This place is terrific. The variety of terrain is excellent. There's something for beginners to experts. I went on a Sunday and lift lines were non existent. The main lobby and restaurant has everything you'd want w/ a great variety of food and drink."

"Awesome ski area. Levels for all types of skiing. Decent sized bunny hill with a lift. Lots of double blacks on the back, and beginner to intermediate on the front side. Worth going, however a little busy. Week days would be best."
