"What a hidden gem! The free history display the have is amazing! Bathrooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The books and items for purchase are a nice touch. On our next trip through we will be bringing the snow suits and sleds to stay a little while. There were several people out enjoying the snow when we arrived, and it looked like so much fun. People were inside warming up and talking about the great trails for cross-country country skiing too."
"This visitor center was really nice. And everything was well done. It was in formative and friendly. Hrs were 8 to 3p.m"
"Visitor Center has wonderful and informative displays. The pass is breathtaking. Very easy loop to hike"
"This is one of my all time favorite motorcycle routes between Idaho and Montana. When you reach the summit don't miss an opportunity to stop at this visitor center. This log built facility is beautiful, the restroom was spotless. There's a gift shop that has something for everyone. There were plenty of ground squirrels to watch play on this summer day. We didn't see the fox, but signs everywhere warned not to feed him. Plus, the temperature was 20 degrees cooler on this day. It's a great stop."
"Right on the Idaho/Montana border. Very comfy, warm, and clean restrooms. Visitor Center currently closed. Very nice stop on one of the prettiest drives you'll ever make. Plenty of parking for any size vehicles. I'm looking forward to visiting this area in the summer and having a picnic here. If you're westbound, be sure to have your passengers take dramamine before you attack the next 99 miles, and do your best to keep your eyes on the road!"
