"Absolutely stunning. A classic, National Park lodge with a long history. The setting is just unparalleled and you'll see a lot of wildlife, even within steps from the hotel. Plenty of great hiking nearby."
"Definitely worth the drive, even though the road is not completely paved and quite rough in many areas. We did not stay overnight, just came to hike, and have lunch at Ptarmigan Dining Hall. The parking lot sits high above the hotel, with a number of steps getting you down to lake level. There are multiple opportunities to take great photos along the way. The inside of the hotel has that wonderful lodge-feel that you get in many of our national parks."
"Historical and Iconic hotel inside Glacier National Park. We stayed here during our vacation at Glacier National Park and really had a wonderful time. The park is conveniently located to a lot of hiking trails. The view from the Hotel is amazing. They have restaurants inside and they even have a park ranger that gives information and talk about the park and its natural surroundings and habitats. Highly recommend staying in this place."
"Lovely spot to stop inside Glacier, on the Many Glacier side. We stopped twice for a drink and set on the patio where lots of people hang out and spot wildlife. We saw black bears both times! One was swimming in the lake in front of us, near kayaks. Lots of other food options in the resort, including fruit and espressos, which we generally don't hope to find."
"I can't speak to the rooms here as we o ly visited for lunch. I can say that the environment, atmosphere, and "feel" of the hotel are classic mountain amazing. The huge common area with fireplace was incredible and I suspect would be even more so in winter. The dining room had a buffet and service that was excellent, and the kids said it felt fancy. Be sure to stop for a seat on the deck to take in some beautiful views."
