Development Workshop, Inc. is a community-focused institution located at 1224 South Challis Street in Salmon, Idaho. We are currently hiring individuals who are passionate about making a difference in their community, and veterans are encouraged to apply. Our primary focus is on providing vocational and independent living training to individuals with disabilities or those who are disadvantaged, helping them secure employment and achieve greater independence.

In addition to our rehabilitation programs, we also offer services such as job placement assistance, janitorial services for businesses in southeast Idaho, and sustainable packaging solutions for eco-friendly shipping. Our manufacturing facility in Idaho Falls serves private industry and the U.S. Government, with a workforce composed mainly of individuals striving for greater independence.

As a private, non-profit corporation, DWI relies on earned income for 95% of our revenue, with the remaining 5% coming from grants, contributions, and fundraisers. We have implemented strict safety guidelines to protect our community during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we ask all visitors to adhere to these guidelines when entering our facilities.
