Providence Urgent Care - Grant Creek

"Every time I go in there I seem to get this Dave guy. I guess he is a doctor, I’m not so sure. My last visit I was having really bad pain INSIDE my ear. He diagnosed me with TMJ and sent me home with muscle relaxers (this place tries to give those out like they are candy) I knew that was not the problem so I went to see another doctor right after who said I clearly have an ear infection. My very sick daughter and I just went in there and saw him again. He had nothing to say. I will be curious what her ACTUAL doctor has to say about how she is doing tomorrow. I will never go here again because it seems like I always get stuck with him."

"It’s upsetting for me to leave this review because I love coming here for all my family and my urgent needs. It’s too bad that one bad time really ruins the reputation of the clinic. Two appointments were schedule for later in the afternoon but to the severity of our illness we came early. I was told they were short staff and that we had to come at our scheduled time. I’m sorry but everywhere is short staff and the show must go on. Asked receptionist that if we can cancel our scheduled appointment and check in walk in and she said we couldn’t. Keep in mind there were no one in the waiting room and their online wait time said ZERO. I did question that because if you are an urgent care and walk-in clinic, there is no way or reason why we should be turn away and advise to come back later when we drive from Florence. She then had the audacity to tell me- we could go else where which upset me because why would I go else where when my provider is within providence and it’s urgent walk in clinic. Then she goes on to ask me if I wanted her to cancel my appointment I told her no. Then she asks me again after she couldn’t answer my question about being checked in as a walk-in. Pissed me off!!! Then she stands up and she pulls her mask down and ask me the same question again and I said NO dont cancel my appointment. She said with an I didn’t hear you with an attitude!!! UPSET u pull my mask down and SAID NO!!!! Left the clinic . Did exchange a few words/names with her- which upset her! I’m sorry but if you have the nerve to stand up from your seat and pull your mask down with an attitude you will catch the same attitude back!!!! And how unprofessional- like you trying to intimate me!!!!! and she had the audacity to tell I can’t be seen anymore and she was gonna cancel my daughter and my appointment. I yelled back at her and told her she ain’t allow to cancel my appointment and it’s my patient right to be seen. Very upsetting and disappointing this is not providence mission or core values!!! Maybe she should retake some classes on how to be more professional and reminded of your mission and core values!!! We did ended up going to CMC urgent care down the road and was a way better experience. We were greeted and seen right away. We both ended up with the flu and my daughter had pneumonia."

"I came in to be seen. I walked up to sit down at the window and the receptionist was apparently on the phone and I didn’t know that. There was no indicator that she was on the phone and her window was open. As I was sitting down she rudely snapped at me that she was on the phone. I left. If I can’t even be treated respectfully by the receptionist I have no hope in being treated well by any of the other staff. She could have nicely said “I’ll be with you in a moment” instead of “I’m on the phone” and shooed me away with a hand gesture. Incredibly unprofessional."

"I have been using Grant Creek Urgent Care for several years and have had nothing but amazing experiences. It's always worth the drive from Granite County. Every provider, nurse, X-Ray tech, phlebotomist and front desk employee has been kind and helpful. We have used them for a broken arm and leg and yesterday Dave gave my little one stitches and couldn't have been more professional and thorough. He was patient and took his time in order to let the numbing agent take effect and my three year old hardly flinched with how gentle he was. I am always impressed with the care we receive her and will continue to recommend it to friends. Thank you!"
