"Clean, professional, friendly Have given me first rate health care for a myriad of issues every time I go in Plus their masks fit really well!"
"Amy Johnson was great for the two visits that I saw her on 1-29 and 1-30, 2024 for a complaint about concerning symptoms including a wretched sore throat and a developing cough. She listened and tried to problem solve with me regarding my symptoms. She also ordered rapid tests to rule out more serious conditions. They were negative. However, on 1-31-2024, I saw Sharon Herndon, a nurse practitioner, for a follow-up on our plan to pursue an antibiotic. She came in saying right away that I had just seen her on 1-7 and got a referral from her for an ENT, who was expected to call me to set up an appointment. That was at least two years ago so she did not exercise due diligence in reading my chart then proceeded to attempt to gaslight me into thinking I was the one who was mistaken. So I told her the ENT referral to Phil Gardner already took place years before, and I then proceeded to describe the visit in detail. I think it would have been much more professional for her to admit her glaring mistake. All I wanted to do forte visit on 1-31 is make a provider aware of the symptoms I was experiencing given the negative tests we had run already (a process of elimination) to make sure our decision (mine with Amy Johnson the two days prior) to try Z-Pack was the best antibiotic given a complex constellation of symptoms. Ms Herndon did not or could not listen with care or compassion. It was a highly condescending experience. But really urgent care is not about real careful diagnosis like any one would want. I realize it is not a substitute for a primary provider. Nonetheless, I am appalled by the treatment by Sharon Herndon. It was almost an ageism, stereotyping kind of experience. She probably didn’t realize that just because you are past 65 years of age does not mean you couldn’t possibly have it together and think clearly. Wow. I wonder if she realized that I have an advanced degree and am really smart. Whatever, I will never go to that urgent care facility again."
"Every time I have gone to First Care I have had excellent service and care. The front desk staff is friendly and efficient. The caregivers are outstanding. I highly recommend this facility."
"Reception was kind and quick. The nurse and Dr. were pleasant and efficient while I was feeling so crummy. Thank you!"
"I suffered gashes on two of my fingers and went to the Tremper’s Shopping Center clinic for possible stitches. I was able to get immediate attention. The young staff was professional and caring. So far so good. But the young caregiver decided to use skin glue instead of stitches to repair the wounds. After applying the glue, she bandaged the wounds. Unfortunately, she did not let the glue dry sufficiently before doing so. When I removed the bandages, the glue came off the wounds as it had adhered to the bandages when they were applied before the glue could dry. The gashes now look exactly the same as before my visit. I feel the visit was a waste of time and money. I hope the young staff is able to learn from my poor outcome."
