"Patient care keeps dwindling. Nobody knows nothing. My daughter can't get her medicine and it's a big run around with no results. Her doctor has been useless. I expect more from an oncologist/hematologist. Long term patient parent that has watched medical care decline in this office."
"I have been seeing Dr. Wagner for about a year and a half now. For the most part he has been "cordial" not friendly but cordial. I saw him yesterday 5/31 and it was the worst experience pretty much ever. He was very unpleasant, very curt, at some points almost like he was angry. I have chronic anemia and my PCP is ordering tests but we have no cause yet and that seemed to really set him off. I got a lot of why haven't you this and why haven't you that? I am not sure he understands that I am the patient and I can't do anything until tests are ordered and insurance pre-approved. It was like it irritated him that I am still sick and I personally don't know why which of course is for my doctors to figure out. It was very unpleasant. I told him I had not talked to my PCP since I saw her last and that she had yet to call me about my blood test results, but he had a copy of those results but explained absolutely NONE of them to me. He wanted me to come back in 6 weeks and I left without making that appointment because frankly I don't ever want to come back. They did call me when I got back to work to make the appointment which I did just to get them off the phone but I will not be coming back to see him. What a horrible patient experience. Its bad enough to have this anemia for 2 years now and not know why but its worse to have a doctor that acts like it is your fault."
"This place has been awesome from doctors to nurses. However the scheduling nurse Christine Tully is very rude. I needed to schedule to get a test done for my Von Willie Brand which takes 5 hours. She tried scheduling me at 1:15pm. I simply asked that probably won’t work Becuase the test is 5 hours long. She replied with I’m a scheduler not a nurse I don’t know those things and rolled her eyes. Either she was having a bad day or hates her job. But a place like this needs kind people, especially with what these people go through. Not impressed with her."
"Scheduling and reaching Dr. Roop's nurse is exceedingly difficult and stressful. The nurses are very curt, the patient experience is like a cow being led down a chute, and the Dr. doesn't listen to what YOU are needing from him. It is like he enters the room with his mind already made up about you and your case and your prognosis. Driving 83 miles to see him just to be told he doesn't know why you are experiencing the symptoms in no way helps. Betty is absolutely awesome though. VERY kind and helpful on the phone."
