"Triple Divide Lodge was the best thing that could've happened to my son and our family. Patrick and his team are top-notch. They really get through to these boys in a way that really made a change in my 16yo son. My son was struggling with excessive alcohol and marijuana use and the team was able to help him uncover underlying causes, work through self-esteem issues, family dynamic issues and work through the steps for recovery. They were so caring, but firm with what would and wouldn't be tolerated...which is what these boys need. My son never felt like he was being threatened, or in harms way I know that is a fear for many parents. They truly care about the boys they work with. I will also say the family therapy week was very impactful. Not only did we get so much out of it but it was amazing to see the impact the program was having on other families who were very much like ours...loving, supportive, and desperate for help. This was my son's first recovery effort and he's doing REALLY well. He went to a more step-down recovery place in Florida following TDL, that Pat helped us find. It has served as an in between place from TDL to home and I'm SO happy to report that my son is coming home in a couple weeks and that we all feel he's ready, and we're ready.
