"Elk Lake Resort was a breath of fresh air. We enjoyed the serenity, the gorgeous vistas, the lakes and streams, our cabin, and the delicious meals prepared every day by our gracious hosts, Laurel, Jake, and Chris. We spent much of our time exploring nearby Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge. Although we didn’t fish on this trip, we received glowing daily reports about the fishing from the other guests. The lodg, cabins and people are friendly an inviting in a majestic and relaxed setting. The main lodge and bar was great place to gather on a rainy day to play games, catch up and share a cocktail. If you are looking for an off the grid, low key vacation this the spot. Plus the food and meals were outstanding. I will be back!"
