"Stopped here with my husband for dinner as we were in town visiting from Alberta, looking for a good BBQ spot. I have to say, we were blown away with everything. Gina, the lovely owner, was so welcoming and quick to put together our food. She is very soft spoken and made the environment feel so homey and comfortable. This is something we don’t often see much of back home, even at other mom & pop shops. We opted to share a beef brisket meal with all the fixin’s and a bread pudding to go. Her husband smoked the brisket and it was melt in your mouth perfection. Dark gravy on the mashed potatoes was perfect and not salty, salad was fresh and we added the home made ranch dressing to top it off. We actually ate our food so fast that we forgot to take photos! Did I mention the freshly baked cornbread? I’ve had some before, but not nearly as good as this. The bread pudding with peaches, is the right way to top it all off. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a warm & loving place to fill up on, this is it! We will definitely be back the next time we come to town."

"They have great chopped brisket, But they put on some type of bread, I think the only thing that would have made it better would be if it were on HB buns. BUT IT WAS AWESOME. My granddaughter received a peach bread pudding that she said was fantastic. It's a small country place, the prices were pretty speedy. But the food was fantastic."

"Ribs were tender and full of meat, brisket was perfect, homemade mashed potatoes, corn bread was moist. Baked beans made with love. Sun tea! ( so refreshing I had half sweet half reg) homemade blue cheese dressing for your salad! husband and wife owned (she calls him “babe,”)they show so much respect and care for each other and the restaurant patrons. they have a wonderful thing going here, and veteran owned. "We were in town, from AZ, for a wedding and looking for something local and unique for dinner. We were staying in Somers and found Cowboy Up...and we are so glad we did! Our family of 5 was warmly welcomed into their quaint tiny house style dining area. The food was incredible! Between us we had ribs, brisket and chicken fried chicken..and don't forget the mashed potatoes, bbq fries and of course, cornbread. We had the opportunity to chat with the owners for awhile as we were there near closing. Rudy and Gena were so welcoming and you can tell they truly appreciate their customers! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Kalispell and highly recommend that anyone in the area stop in for a great meal!"
