"The place has bad service with mediocre food and baked goods. I tried a few times, trying to support local businesses. Every single time, they forgot the order, missed something or used ingredients that I specifically asked not to. Whenever they mess up, they never apologize and take their sweet time fixing it. If I waited 20 mins to get to-go order which was forgotten (I checked in between - the employee said it’s being made), why do I have to wait another 20 mins because kitchen is backed up? Mind you, this was when the cafe was only half full and the cafe had at least 4 employees working. Buffalo cafe around the corner has much better breakfast. Fleur on the next block has much better baked goods. Crepe place is also a much better alternative. All three has better coffee too. I prefer to shop local but this place is written off."

"We are locals and so we don't want to share that this spot is our hidden jewel - with all of the expansion and people drowning out the true spirit of our little town - we are glad that Central Avenue Bakery stays true to its roots. We love this place/the owners/workers - this is why we spend our money here."

"Staff were very nice. Food was fantastic - we loved everything we got. Specifically, the biscuit and gravy was so unique and delicious (priced well). We went multiple times during our stay. The prices were a little high for smaller portions (sandwiches), but it didn’t stop us from eating there."

"The Adobe sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I'd had in quite some time. It was prepared very quickly, fresh, and served good and warm. The tea i had was freshly brewed and refreshing as well. The menu isn't overwhelming huge, but I think there's a good option on it for just about any taste, including a nice selection of baked goods for desert. Service was also excellent and friendly, not to mention efficient and fast. I'll keep coming back whenever I'm in town to visit family or snowboard at Big Mountain."
