"We popped in on our way back home to Kalispell for some breakfast on a Saturday | had the eggs Benedict on gluten free toast - the hollandaise sauce was also GF (some establishments throw wheat in their sauce or use packets, she makes it in house here and it's delicious!), and I was also able to order an unbelievable side of Gluten Free French Toast as you can see by the photos it tasted 100% as good as it looks! I can't remember what the hubby ordered it's not pictured here) but his was also so delicious, we both ate everything and found our new favorite little Café in Polson!"
"The exquisite flavors and high-quality organic ingredients made for an outstanding dining experience."
"Visiting my aunt we had an incredible breakfast! Everything was next level amazing - I can’t wait to come back!"
"Definitely worth it ! If you want good quality organic food, French press coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place. But, don’t be in a hurry … and don’t expect cheap .. quality homemade food takes a little longer and organic ingredients cost a bit more. The presentation and the tast is amazing !! I had eggs Benedict and it was the best that I ever had ! This is for those who appreciate fine dining .. oh, and they have an amazing wine selection, and homemade spices available in their gift shop area. Enjoy !!"
"Eating dinner at Mrs. Wonderful's reminds me of a place I ate up in the olive tree- covered hills above the town of Lucca Italy in 2016. I stayed in an Air BnB and there was only one restaurant within walking distance open only on the weekends. There was one chef, maybe only a couple dishes to pick from, and everyone who lives in the surrounding hills eats there at least once a week. They all have their own same chairs. It's like eating with family, even if you're not family, even if you're not from there. And mama's doing all the cooking. You may not all get your food at the same time (someone else complained about that) but what this assures is that your dish is hot because she just cooked it; it's not sitting around under a heat lamp waiting for her to cook 6 other dishes! Your dish is made special for YOU! Just eat it when it gets to your table. We're all family here. Nobody's gonna be offended if you eat yours while the next person waits for their's. Portions aren't huge American style, but it's ample. Sit back, taste, breathe between bites, chew your food, taste the amazing flavors, notice the pasta is perfectly done. Their pricing directly reflects their commitment to buying local, and organic. They support local growers. Mary Frances (Mama/chef) and her daughter Diana are truly an amazing team. Diana is an oenologist, runs the establishment's wine club, has exquisite taste and a worldly selection of wine. She also happens to be the house baker. She makes scones and galettes that you would be hard pressed to find better! And she does it with a baby on her hip! The pastry is baked to perfection, made of the freshest, oft locally sourced, and organic ingredients every time they can find it. Real butter and cream, all that good kind of fat that just melts in your mouth! And if by chance you catch, in the house, or get to chat with papa Gino while he's making pizza on Wednesday nights consider yourself blessed. And hopefully it's over a bottle of fine red wine which, among other gift items you can buy right there in house. They've got a great patio and an intimate naturally lit indoor dining area. It's an easy walk down to the pristine Flathead Lake for that after dinner passaggiata."
