"Hocks is more or less an order window inside the fueling/souvenir shop. Always a fun place to get out and stretch your legs when you go through. Their stock changes often and they have very cool stuff to get for a decent price including clothes, jewelry, candy, figurines, toys, and much much more. Hucks grill has burgers, sandwiches, fries, great potatoes salad and a kids menu. And their shakes are great too. Try the special eggnog shake if it's in season. Plus Huckleberry. Always a treasure to find."
"Delicious food and even more amazing huckleberry milkshakes!!! I got the bacon bleu burger and it was soooo good!! The fries have some sort of breading on them making them taste amazing! Best fries I've ever had! I also tried the huckleberry bbq sauce and it was surprisingly so delicious!!! Really, It was all sooo good! They also offer gluten free options! Cute little restaurant, doesn't get packed and staff is so sweet and kind! Very attentive! Kept very clean! Parking can get a little crowded though due to it being attached/shared to a gas station and gift shop!"
"Milkshake was good but not the best ever when it looked to be dyed with nasty chemicals. My heart sunk the moment I saw it. (Update: They now reply that it is all-natural colors from the berries. Glad to hear that! Sorry for the mistake. I'm updating my score but please make sure that is posted if possible so all people possible may enjoy, and enjoy fully.) "Best. Milkshake. Ever." is their marketing slogan not necessarily a natural response of their customers on here. Best ever would be organic for starters. This was a solid creation with real huckleberries and ice cream, but unless I'm mistaken, they strangely wanted to find a way to make it artificial somehow anyway. Why?!? And it tasted like a decent real milkshake but unless you've only gotten milkshakes from like McDonald's I don't see why anyone would call it the best ever except for hype. The gift shop was lots of fun, though, and reminiscent of Cabelas. For anyone else also just looking for a fun stop, this place is made better by is proximity to the yard art business about a block a way (See photos)."
"Just as it should be at this historic travel stop. I charged my Tesla, took my girls shopping in the gift shop and we got to enjoy a meal at the Huck's Grill. Fun time!"
"This place is soo good!! We dinned in & Shannel was very genuine, kind & friendly and we loved her attitude( Its really hard to find that now a days) ...Not to mention patient with my mom lol. :) Our food was hot and it was cooked perfect! AND The Huckleberry shake was soo freaking good! We were soo happy to stop here on our road trip. The gift shop/gas station was great to browse. The bathrooms were very clean and very well mantained. I Would definitely recommend this place to stop at."
