It is rare to see this kind of service nowadays, I feel like most places would go ahead and do the brakes anyways when I didn’t need it. "We had pretty bad vibration in our steering wheel and the van pulled a little so I scheduled an alignment. I suggested that perhaps the tires needed balanced, to do what ever was needed to get rid of the vibration. When we stopped in to pay for our services they said my tires were shot, that the belts were sepperating and they could blow at any time and the vibration wouldn't go away unless we got new tires. Then they gave us a quote on a new set of tires. We went to Les Schwab to get a second opinion. Turns out the tires just needed balanced! After they balanced them the vibration completly went away. Next time I'm just going to Les Schwab first!"
