"We stayed here in our travel trailer. Hook ups were great. Had no trouble getting level. The grounds are clean and set on a beautiful creek. Close to historic Philipsburg and beautiful lakes. The owners were very nice. I would definitely stay here again if in the area."
"Male owner is the rudest person I’ve come across in 6 days of travel across Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming & Montana. Worst I I’ve been treated by someone in hospitality, possibly ever. Pass on by this place whether the open sign is on or not, plenty of other great places nearby where folks are much friendlier. When my husband and I saw an open sign, while driving down a long stretch of road on our motorcycle in 100+ degree temps, we were so happy! We walked into the lobby and when the owner came in, he didn’t greet us with a smile or hello, walked right past me in fact. I asked him, with a smile on my face, “Hi, can we buy a couple of cold drinks from you?”…weirdest most judgmental reply from him, “Not if you’re going to drink it while you drive down the road.” I’m not sure what led him to the conclusion that we were criminals, stunned I told him we’ve never done that in our entire riding lives, and my husband said “can’t we drink these on the premises?” The owner shrugged and said sure, but he clearly didn’t want us on his property. Once he decided he was willing to sell us two cans of white claw, he asked for ID (reasonable) but needed both, while my husband has his mine was out in the bike. Not feeling like traipsing back and forth in hundred degree weather and feeling totally judged and not welcome, we decided the two claws weren’t worth it. We are in our 40’s, travel often all over the world and country, and haven’t felt as judged by anyone (for no reason) as we did by this owner. Maybe it’s because we were on a bike, which to some must mean we’re degenerate criminals. What a shame."
"It's a great place, but the grounds could use some work. I get it if they want to keep the area natural, but weed eat all the weed patches in and immediately bordering the camp and lodge area. I do have to add that it might normally be kept up, but they did have a flood issue over the winter and were in the process of getting that all fixed. Thanks to the local contractors for jumping in and assisting, or it would have been a long waiting game on hired contractors. The menue is minimal but perfect! Waffles are great!!!"
"I stayed here while I was gem mining at Gem Mountain in Philipsburg. We rented the Hunter cabin and had the best time. I am not a nature person and I don’t camp so I was nervous going into it. The cabin was clean and bug free with super comfortable beds. The bathrooms were spotless and the food at the restaurant was fantastic. The property was fantastic and everyone staying there (camping, RVs, cabins) was nice and seemed to enjoy their stay. I will absolutely stay here again and I have recommended this to many friends."
"We enjoyed our one night stay here! It's hard to find accomodations for a family of 7, and we ended up here just based on availability. We're glad we did! The cabin we stayed in was very clean, and the bathrooms are very well maintained. The resort has 3 full bathrooms (for each gender, so 6 total) and an outhouse that are within an easy distance to the cabins/RV/tent areas. Be sure to bring your own toiletries for the shower. We loved hearing the sound of the creek and playing pool, foosball, and other games at night as a family. If we're out this way again, we would definitely stay here."
