Reviews of Willow Brook Cove Apartments
"First, this listing is misleading. There is not a useable tennis court, and they do not have an exercise facility. Second, the apartments have not been upgraded since the 70’s and they they no longer maintain them or the grounds. Repair requests are frequently ignored, but the rent is raised every year. This is no longer a good value."
"I used to live in this complex for two years. At first, I didn’t have any problems. My last six months ruined my whole experience in this complex. A sets of families were moved into the unit above me, at least it’s what it felt like. They were constantly loud and it was hard to keep up with their late schedules and loud music. If you have people that lives above you in this apartment, it will ruined your life. The walls are thin because it’s kind of an old construction that is remodeled and you can hear a lot of things especially if people above you are are walking around and watching loud tvs at night. I have reached out to the area manager/regional manager that they recommended to talk to but she never responded. I decided to send her a text message and let her know that there’s too many people that lives above me and there’s constantly noise that keeps me up late at night. I was totally ignored and never gotten a response. I’m glad I walked out of the situation and I do NOT wish on anyone to be placed on the same situation that I was in."
"These apartments will rip you off on your move-out. I was changed $20 for a dirty blind! I could have replaced the blind for that money. The manager insists on the apartment being clean on move-out, although it wasn’t very clean when I moved in and a $100 cleaning fee was deducted from my deposit before it was returned. There were several thefts during the year I lived there. Mostly committed by the apartment residents. I would NOT recommend this apartment complex to move in. BEWARE!!"
"The apartments were very affordable, especially considering the amount of space you get. Many closets and spacious laundry room. We loved the location as it's close to multiple parks and walking trails. Manager Shelby was always very helpful and friendly. We had a few problems with maintenance, but Shelby always helped us get it resolved. Overall, great experience."
"My family and I have been here since July 2018. All in all it's not a bad place to live. No major issues, just many little annoyances. I certainly think that there are better values out. Pool was locked, and closed, more days in the summer than it was open and available for use. When management decided that our furnace needed to be replaced, and it was working just fine at the time, they decided to replace it with the absolute worst efficiency model they could find. Literally, it is on the very low-end of the energy efficiency spectrum...passing I needed heating and energy costs on to us as the residents. All the appliances are bottom rate Hotpoint models. Maintenance has taken a few weeks, or more, to handle any of the issues that have come up during seasonal walkthroughs or maintenance requests. I was charged quite a bit to have a couple of small holes repaired in a few walls, and the maintenance man get a job worse than a three-year-old would have done.I could have repaired these damages on my own for a fraction of the cost and it would have actually looked half decent when I finished. Never had a problem with billing amounts or rent amounts."
