Reviews of Preston Hollow Apartments
"This place is amazing! Wonderful staff, beautiful apartments and even the community here is amazing. The young lady Jessica upfront helped me with everything I needed and was really helpful and friendly! 100% recommend this place"
"I will start out by saying that this property was a wonderful place to live the first year or so I was there. I was recently graduated from college and needed a place to live in 2020. The apartment had what I needed and had a nice view of the mountains. It was not a renovated apartment, however, so it did have its flaws. That being said, as other reviews have mentioned, once Phase II began, things went south VERY fast. What were once 1-2 days between maintenance requests become up to 20 days since they were too busy working on their new property to give any priority to their original one. In terms of pricing, the original rent was "fine" but definitely not cheap. After the initial year, my rent jumped by a couple hundred dollars and fees went up exponentially. Compared to where I am living now, I spend less than half the amount on utilities and fees. After living there three years, I was going to get married and needed an additional four months on my lease. This is when things went from a three star experience to a sub-zero experience. They refused to offer any partial lease and said I *had* to do month to month. This increased my rent by over $500 making my monthly rent with all fees around $2200. Needless to say, I moved out early. When I moved out, they found everything and anything to nickel and dime on fees which they tacked onto my move-out final invoice amounting to several hundred dollars. One of the fees was caused by the tub being stained because it was unable to drain correctly for weeks on end even though I put in a maintenance request (see above comment about delays). Save yourself the stress and move somewhere different. The rent is too high, the fees are unnecessary, the amenities are subpar for what you are paying, the staff is unable to do anything about any policies due to the ownership company and you'll save a ton of money in the process."
"A pretty good place overall. Our 3 bedroom apartment is much more spacious than I expected it to be. The windows are sealed very very poorly, so expect mold on your window sills and you’ll hear every word that people outside are saying. That would be my only complaint other than the new gym, I miss the variety of machines in the old one! The new gym only has 1 weight machine, but I think it’s still a work in progress since it was just built. The entry gates are also always broken, usually because people drive into them. But compared to my whole living experience here, these complaints are minute and don’t affect me too much. Overall I love the place and I’m glad I found it!"
"This property was amazing before combining with the one next door. Unfortunately everything went down hill once that happened. I would advise only moving to an apartment that has been remodeled. The ones that haven’t are falling apart. Office and maintenance were average. They complete tasks in a timely manner but lack some experience in some areas. The reason for the two stars is when we received the deposit back there were a number of mistakes and extra items they billed for one being charging twice for a door we broke. The office was impossible to contact. We called multiple times and no one ever got back to us. Hard to recommend a place like that to a friend."
