"I am writing this review to warn future potential residents. My experience with this apartment complex has been terrible. They have charged me for my ESA, despite submitting my letter from a licensed therapist and they threatened to evict me if I didn’t pay the pet deposit. This is clearly against my rights. Short after moving in, I didn’t have a working heater, stove, or hot water in the shower. The apartment smelled like cigarette smoke and a handful of the outlets didn’t work. On top of all that, the front door didn’t lock. Finally, there is a lot of crime that takes place in the parking lot after dark and people do not pick up after their pets or respect the property by throwing their trash in the dumpsters. I gave the property a couple stars though because I love the layout of the apartment and the large trees around the property. I really wish my experience here could have been more positive. The new management is trying to clean up the property, however in doing so, they are pushing out all of the good tenants and not addressing the real issues. This property is only going to continue to decline with the way they are running it. Good luck!"
"First month got an eviction notice that cost me an additional $900 in fees. I met with the office prior to pay rent twice. I was assured it was taken care. Obviously it was not. Air conditioning was broken when I moved in. It took 2 months to fix. Very unhappy. Since then things have gone smoothly. The maintenance department is very efficient and has taken care of all my needs. My upstairs neighbor child stomps on the floor I guess that is one of the problems living on the bottom. I would overall a 6 out of 10. The new staff seems to have it together. Do not change my review. Deal with your mess ups. If you change my review again I will seek legal consultation. Everything I have stated is 100% true."
"The staff has always been pleasant with me despite some difficult situations. They work very hard to accommodate everyone as best they can without sacrificing rules and property protocol. Also, every maintenance request I have ever made has been answered to and fixed in a very timely manner. Never more than 24 hours and that's super helpful. The grounds are kept very clean and I really enjoyed the holliday decorations they put out the Christmas season for all residents to enjoy."
"Don't make the mistake of moving here. We moved here temporarily from out of state (site unseen - big mistake). The place smelled foul -it smelled like something was rotting and the place was dirty from counters to the floor (they painted over dirt, pins, & hair in the bathroom drawers -how clean and delightful) so we thought we'll clean it up and hopefully the smell will go away. Nope! Finally figured out the smell, besides cigarettes smell, was the roof leaking nasty water in intervals (apparently everytime neighbor above used AC) -we called maintenance and submitted electronic ticket that didn't show for days. The water leak was getting to our furniture so we had to ruin our COOKING POTS, towels, and clothes to control it. Maintenance came out four different times telling us it's "fixed" and of course it was still leaking! After the 4th visit roof stopped leaking near the dining room but started in the bathroom -since we had to actually go to work and can't keep fighting with these people to take care of their apartments they're collecting money on, we just gave up and didn't bother. Not only did we not get any compensation for the abhorrent state of the apartment they had the gall to charge for "cleaning" the place was never given to us clean we gave it back in better shape than we got it. If you ever make a mistake of renting with these people don't bother cleaning you'll get charged anyway. Also, there is no safeguard/fence between the parking lot and apartments. Someone actually CRASHED into our apartment. We couldn't use our room and when they finally fixed the wall they still left dirt and dust all over our stuff and never returned the furniture they moved back in it's place. Place is not insulated and had cracks around the door and walls so you'll always be cold and have big heating bill. Fun bonus, the light fixture in their bathroom fell on my head because they don't maintain this place at all. Do yourself a favor and RUN!"
"I've lived here for 4 months now so I have a pretty good feel for it. The location & surroundings are amazing...lots of grass and a path around a duck pond to walk dogs. I rented sight unseen and have been pleasantly surprised. Maintenance is wonderful. They're usually here the same day I request something. In my previous apartment, you sometimes had to wait weeks! The office people are very nice, efficient and organized as well. They send you a notice to remind you that rent is due and let you know if anything suspicious is happening on the grounds. I really appreciate that. I'm very happy to have found Foxpoint!"
