"This message is very important for the owners of the Ascent at Cottonwood housing complex. Last Friday, March 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm. I went to their offices at 332 East Gordon Lane. to clarify this email that you sent me with a supposed pending debt. And since I do not agree and I respectfully expressed it to Mrs. Amanda Muir who with arrogance, arrogance and with shouting and aggression on the part of the administrator Mrs. Amanda Muir who insulted me with rude and racist words and since I did not understand everything very well What she wanted to tell me was that she kicked me out of her office and called the police for no reason with the intention of harming my good reputation and honorability. So I demand an apology from you. Regarding the message, it is evident that you recognize a deposit from me after having lived in apartment H-7 as a tenant. of the housing unit in reference. and under oath to tell the truth and under oath before a court if necessary, state that the deposit was for $300 Dlls. and not for $150 Dlls. as you intend to assert. The second thing is true that my contract expired on January 31, 2024 and I paid every dollar owed. Therefore any other charge that you seek is illegal and abusive. Therefore, I do not agree that they intend to charge me and harm me with this improper charge. And with regard to cleaning the apartment and other concepts that they intend to charge, I remind you that this administration did not accept renewal of the contract because they are in the process of renewing the apartments and H-7 is one of the few that were pending renewal, letting you know that That apartment had not been renovated for more than 10 years, so it deteriorated due to normal use and the passage of time, so what they intend to charge for its maintenance or cleaning is not valid. And for further reference, I left the apartment clean and in the best possible condition without being responsible for normal deterioration due to time and which you refused to repair while I lived in apartment H-7. So don't lie and don't try to collect illegal charges or call the police to solve a problem that is civil and not criminal. Because criminal and racist is the treatment I received from Mrs. Amanda Muir. Finally, I am willing to engage in dialogue and respectful and honorable treatment, let me know and ask that Mrs. Amanda refrain from approaching me, much less yelling at me and insulting me. I will be waiting for her response."
"The prior management erroneous charged me $15 for apartment insurance when I already had qualifying insurance with my insurance provider. Your bookkeeper hasn't deleted this charge. The $15 keeps being added to my rent even though my office manager, Amanda, tells me this amount is being properly taken off my rent charges. So I would appreciate any help you can make in deleting this erroneous charge."

"I've been living here for a year now and I will not be renewing my lease. Here is an entirely honest review of the place. They have changed management since we have moved here and I recognize and these folks seem to be much more attentive and caring than the previous management. Your payment per month will never be the same. There will be a random month where there's random $36, $40 charges on your account that seemingly come from now where. And calling the phone number is next to nothing in terms of getting help. They will charge $15 for parking despite having no assigned spots and not even all the parking is covered. People park in multiple spots, and households with multiple cars all park behind each other and take up the entire parking lot. Upon looking at it, there is absolutely nothing that warrants the $15. Renovations on apartments are lazily done. We have had an issue with our bath tub finish peeling and leaving this horrible yellow tub underneath and have told maintenance and nothing has been done. Our water heater was leaking for months because of improper installation. Our washing machine is put in slanted into the space. Our back door has never been able to fully lock and we have told maintenance about this on several occasions and there is a slight temporary fix for the moment but we have been without a functioning back door for months. Our upstairs neighbors toilet leaked and required an entire repatching of the ceiling. Our toilet was not installed properly and our apartment smelled like excrement for days. After spending more time in the apartment it becomes apparently clear that there are many cracks in the walls and ceiling. Our backyard was filled with nails and screws in the dirt. Wifi is included which is nice but its not the best so we opted for a higher speed plan. Our toilet froze during the winter for a few days. Walls are paper thin sometimes you will be able to hear conversations very clearly. The kitchen is very small hardly any room for two people to be in at the same time but i mean its fine. Cabinets are flimsy. Essentially no storage in the apartment besides a small closet in the living room. The apartment is small so it makes sense but not worth the money to me. Rent comes to about $1600 after all the fees and that seems entirely too much for 700 square feet. maintenance is great and Kim the property manager is really nice. This place is just fine if you want shelter and have no other options but i would look at other places first to see if they are more worth your buck."
