"There is new management here and so I wanted to post a new review. Things I am finding notable with this new company having taken over: - The new Manager (McKay) is friendly and doesn’t make residents feel like they are a burden for needing questions answered - The Manager has taken actions that send the message he cares about the safety of residents and the enforcement of quiet hours - Staff has made proactive efforts to keep up on maintenance requests (and followed through later to make sure the problem was resolved) - There is a new valet trash company picking up, and they have been doing a great job so far! Highly recommend this place and appreciate it being affordable for single people on one income who are not looking for “affordable housing”. As a side note, the amount of construction and parking situation is challenging. Also worth noting that there is a bar between both apartment buildings that plays really loud music on Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons during the summer."
"I lived at 9th station for a year and a half and it good place to call home. I lived in both buildings and the unit layouts were great. Both units I lived in were brand new and had the best kitchen layouts of any studio I had before. As with any apartment situation downtown keeping out the undesired is challenging but hardly unique to this building. The past owners were hard to work with and mainly unresponsive. Since Riley started working in the office things got significantly better. He has great communication and always makes time to talk. If I find myself back in the area I would consider living here again."
"Finishing up my 8 month lease here. I had a very positive experience living here. My apartment was nice , calls for repairs answered quickly and manager was always on point , focused on resolving any issues I had and quick to loan me a pen. I wish I had signed the new lease when I had the chance as things I had initially planned didn't work out. Id definitely rent here again."
"My husband and I moved in about a week ago. Nothing but a positive experience so far. These places are so cute. Although small, very cozy and well built. Plenty of room for both of us, personally. Pretty quiet as well, which I was surprised by, being right by Trax. I only see that as a plus at this point. If you’re a minimalist, and just don’t need much space; but want to make up for it in aesthetic, I recommend!"
"I lived in one of the studio units for 1 year. When I had first moved in, the heat didn't work from the ac, it was still cold outside. I had requested a repair, and they sent someone out to recharge the unit. Few months later, the heat hits and AC is no longer working. My power bill had gone up from the fan running 24/7, and it took way too long to repair. After complaining with management multiple times with no repair, they had provided a temporary portable AC unit, after I refused to pay rent. Eventually was resolved. The change in management shortly after move in was not quick and not the smoothest either. The exterior door to the stairwell was often broken, there was graffiti around the building, and people screaming in the alleyway in the middle of the night. The alleyway often smelled of cigarette smoke, as the neighbors would frequently smoke outside the building. There was also a person in the neighboring building that often played LOUD music with his window open, all day and hours into the night. It was audible from inside the unit. The Trax is nice to have so close, but can be disturbing inside the units to some. I got used to it. The graffiti was never cleaned to the day I moved out as well. Overall, it was nice to be in a fresh unit, although you can tell they were built cheap. The lack of parking and cameras/security was a big downside, however. If you need a decent place to stay, it's worth it for the right price. Under 900/month for the studio in my opinion, although they seem to be asking for about 1000 right now, for 400 SQ ft. If you can stretch your dollar further for a nicer place with amenities, I'd look elsewhere. I would've rated 2 stars if it weren't for management trying to resolve some issues during the stay, although not to expectations."
