Reviews of City Centre Apartments
"Money grabber!!! Do not live here they charge absurd moving out charges after my friends living there for two years. Place was in immaculate condition top to bottom. Shoes were never worn inside and general cleaning was done on time. I thought about moving in here when my lease was up at my current place but not anymore!!"
"Quiet and Comfortable place to call home. Manager pays attention to the cleanliness of the property and the needs of the residents. She is always quick to respond when needed which has been helpful. Yes, of course no place is perfect and always has room for improvement but having people that listen and show care, creates a place with comfort."
"We called this place home for nearly 3 years. Everything about this place was home to us. We rarely had issues and when we did they were minor and taken care of almost immediately. Management was always great to us, in fact Duy and Ellie are one of the biggest reasons we loved it here. They welcomed us with warm and open arms. Always listened when we had issues and did they best they could to resolve the problems we experienced. The only reason we have moved out is because life has other plans for us to grow our future bigger and brighter and we just could no longer afford the rent. If i could choose this complex over and over i would. There always room for improvement for sure, anywhere you go or live will always have room to grow and improve, but everything we personally experienced here was nothing shy of amazing. We will miss it here. Thank you for almost 3 great years City Center!"
"Here goes a long winded and extremely unimpressed review. First off, I've been living in apartments for over 10 years and this is by far the worst place I have lived by far. I'm going to try and keep my griefs in order from the most irritating to last. With that being said I'll start with not having a key fob to enter the building. After being locked out of my building in the early morning on three separate occasions I contacted staff to get access to the building via a keyfob rather than my phone. I was told I would be put onto a list for keyfob access only to be locked out of my home two more times. My next gripe is parking. We have to pay for parking and have used our designated parking spot one time for it is very far from our apartment and has no advantage. Of course there is parking in the garage but we were also added to the list only to never receive a spot. The free parking area we used all the time constantly had vehicles that were unused and wouldn't move for over half a year. The nearby children center had taken over a third of the spots with tow away zones but would still use the complex parking. This caused me to only be able to park in the complex a few times a week. The next problem with this place is the noise. We got the pleasure of living above the weight room and near the pool. Constant people dropping weights in the gym all hours of the day and night that will shake your apartment. When the pool is open you'd think there's a party in your living room. The walls are paper thin and you can have a conversation with your neighbor if you'd like. Lastly I hope you like the sound of screaming kids. With the kids center nearby you'll have the pleasure of children screaming at the top of their lungs all day long. My last tiff with city center is the cleanliness. First off we've had puke in our hall for at least 3 months. It still hasn't been cleaned but it's just slowly rotting away so I think that's okay. Our trash valay service that we pay for just decides to pick it up at their convenience. So the halls smell like got garbage, literally. Overpriced, under delivered."
"If you are looking for a clean, well ran, reasonably priced apartment with clean and up to date amenities, this is NOT the place for you. The stench of animal urine from the entrance all the way through the halls is overwhelming. The office is poorly ran and often left locked, especially when things like wifi outages happen. We moved out the beginning of June and as of date, no one from the “corporate office” has returned our calls in regards to complaints. Upon move in, we had to clean our own apartment before we could unpack. There was a lack of communication in regards garage parking etc. We did not know about the apartment app until another tenant told us about it. The smell of marijuana and piles of dog feces in the halls, common areas, sidewalks, entry way was embarrassing . Due to a clerical error in the contract, we were forced to pay an additional month of rent and utilities. After the internet provider was changed without notice, we were paying for high speed internet while using hard line modems which we had to purchase. After our AC went out, it took a considerable amount of time for a gentlemen who did not speak English to come tell us it was not broken. After several days it was determined that a component in the condenser had failed. Needless to say, this list could go on and on. There are numerous apartments in this area that are newer, well maintained and more reasonably priced with great management. Even though this was a temporary stay until our home was ready, it was a horrible experience. I’d recommend looking elsewhere for housing. *** It is now October and the only thing we have received from this office is a bill for utilities and cleaning for months we were not residents, after moving and the expiration of our lease."
