"Harry and Mike are the best in the biz! They explained everything to me clearly about what was going wrong with my furnace and seemed genuinely excited when I asked questions. They really went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and understood the process. I usually get nervous in these kind of repair scenarios but they made the experience as enjoyable as buying a new furnace can be. I 100% recommend!"
"Nick and Kelvin were great. Both of them were professional and friendly. I had ample time to ask questions or voice concerns. They were careful to be sure they understood my questions and answered them completely. Everything was performed to my satisfaction. I’ve known this company for several years now. They keep me informed about times, dates, arrival times etc. I plan to continue this excellent working relationship. Thanks Nick and Kelvin."
"Typically I would give a 5 star review because for the most part I've had great experiences working with Barlow Service Experts. Today felt different though. I had my furnace serviced and another person came with Brandon. For the record, Brandon has always been fabulous to work with and is 10/10. He's honest and I feel like he has always given valuable recommendations. Last summer he let me know that in the future, I would need to think about replacing my AC at some point because the refrigerant that my AC uses is no longer made. He told me things were looking good though and he would just keep checking the levels on its yearly services. Today, Danielle (the person who came with him), was adamant that I proactively replace my AC and furnace due to the refrigerant issue. I wasn't really sure if she was a technician or just in sales. It felt a bit aggressive, especially since she hasn't even seen the unit. I told her that I am in no position financially to do so at this time. Also, when I am ready to replace the AC, I'll get several bids. Again, this has nothing to do with Brandon, he is and has always been great. I just felt the sales tactics where a little too much."
"Daniel Lawson, a Barlow Service Expert, installed a new gas water heater (40 gal, Bradford White Eco-Defender) in our condominium. Daniel is a very product knowledgeable, experienced, and a well qualified journeyman plumber . He took deliberate steps in earthquake strapping, proper fittings, venting, expansion tank placement and pressure, and even a metal pan instead of plastic. Earlier I replaced a furnace. In each case, Barlow’s Service Experts were outstanding. I would highly recommend Daniel for all plumbing needs. In addition, the Barlow Co. provides excellent support."
"DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM! My mother has been a loyal customer for over 10 years. We had an issue that needed to be addressed so we scheduled a routine service call. The technician shows up WITH a sales consultant and they sit outside for 15 minutes before coming in. Then they come in with no tools in hand. After spending less than 15 minutes looking at the unit they say the unit is too old to be repaired and needs replaced. But we were in luck since they were having a Black Friday sale. We told them no thanks we only need the one issue addressed. The tech insisted he’d been in the industry for 27 years and he knew what he was talking about. We again told him no thank you and ended up calling for a second opinion. The technician from the other company showed up with tools in hand and without a sales consultant. Guess what? The unit is fine and does not need replacing. It’s 11 years old and shows its age but it does not need to be replaced. But the filter that should have been replaced when you’re paying a company every six months for a service call should not look like it’s 5 years old. Yes the attached photos are what the second company found. No mention from the 27 year vet and his sales guy about the filter or the humidifier filter that was corroded. In fact they never even touched the thermostat which is the first thing the second tech did. I could go on and on about this companies tactics. Let’s just say they lost a loyal customer. Here’s to hoping nobody falls for this company’s scam of taking advantage of people!!!!!"
