"Janet Williams with Farm Bureau has been an exceptional agent to work with for both our home and auto insurances. Several years ago we were with a different, very large company that left us feeling like they did not have our best interests in mind. After my husband was in a head-on collision where the other, at-fault driver was uninsured, we were left trying to recoup our own deductible and fighting the battle on our own. The money we received for our paid off, now-totaled car was no where near what we needed to replace it. And when calling their large company, we could never talk to the same agent twice, which felt very impersonal. That's when we knew we needed to find a company with a local agent we could trust to help us through any future misfortunes. We have been with Janet ever since. I really appreciate how she is always there to answer any questions I have and even checks in with me from time to time to make sure we are covered and happy with our service. Last year I was in an accident that was not my fault. Again, our paid off car was totaled. It was only 4 years old. I was gearing up for a big disappointment, like with the previous company, because that's how I thought all insurance companies paid out after an accident. When the damage appraiser called me with the amount I would be given to buy a new vehicle I asked him to repeat the amount 3 or 4 times, because I was shocked at how much they were cutting the check for. We were easily able to shop for a comparable replacement. We appreciated how quickly they worked through the details, as well, because we were in a time crunch to be traveling cross country for a job.
