"The crew is great, but their inaccurate estimate made for double the expected cost, and their flawed claims process made for zero compensation for damages. The estimate was aggressively low, which resulted in an expected 2nd truck load. I'd recommend having them come walk-through the home when providing an estimate to avoid this experience. I appreciated that they were willing to put in a 14-hour day, vs a 7-hour day to get the job done. Though unexpected, I was happy to pay for the extra time, they worked hard and deserved it. The ability to file a claim for damages is misleading, which resulted in me paying over $1,000 in repairs. They were transparent about the damages, and pointed me to where I can submit a claim, however, my claim was denied because I signed their final receipt stating that the job was complete. Apparently, if you don't have Momentum Moving state the damages before you sign, you lose the leverage to file a claim. It is their responsibility to let their customers know this information, and they were not transparent with me about it. I gave them a lot of grace after the day resulted in double the time and double the pay, but after feeling deceived about the claims process, I cannot give them a high rating. A contact at Momentum reached out to me, but did not take responsibility for the inaccurate quote, and was unfamiliar with their own claims process and would not take responsibility for that either."
