JOANN Fabric and Crafts

"I purchased a singer sewing machine on 11/10/23. It had an error code when I used it (E1) and stopped working. I went to return it to Joann and was told that because I opened the box they wouldn’t take the machine back. I called Singer and they said that all Joann would need to do is mark the box defective. Then Joann would send it back and they would be refunded. However, Joann would not take it back. I called Singer and had to send it to California at my expense. I spent over $50 to ship it to CA to try to get it fixed. I will never buy another electronic device or equipment from Joann. If they can’t or won’t return the merchandise they carry and then they put the burden on the consumer then I am unwilling to spend my money at Joann."

"Love the sales, love the fun things they make available for me to do crafts with my families and makes things for those I love. I was helped by one awesome person, wish I caught their name they were so very kind to me and helped me get fabric. On the other hand, I had a very rotten acting cashier. She unfortunately does not have proper customer service skills and I was treated poorly. I get it was near the end of their shift most likely, but you have a job you should be doing properly, and I don’t appreciate being spoken to as if I’m dumb or treated like I don’t belong in a craft store. She was acting as if I was trying steal maybe.? I genuinely don’t even know what was going on. Other than that, love the sales."
