"I decided to use a CPA for our 2022 returns and chose Haynie and Co. because they were supposed to have expertise in 1031 exchanges. I essentially prepared everything needed to file in Excel with all supporting documents neatly catalogued. We received draft returns on the due date with no opportunity to review. The next day, I notified Haynie and Co. that one of our returns had been filed under an incorrect SSN. I also submitted additional questions about the 1031 filings (it appeared the properties had been improperly lumped together with incorrect basis amounts among other things). I contacted Haynie and Co. several times to get clarification on my concerns but never heard back. TLDR: I should have stuck with TurboTax."

Their lack of professionalism and communication and ultimately failure to file our tax extensions has cost us thousands of dollars in penalties with the IRS. Very disappointed in this establishment."
