Reviews
"Most of the reviews for this company seem to be from employees or family members of employees and owners, so if you are reading this go ahead and report those reviews as a conflict of interest. Here is the truth from someone who deals with Tramcor drivers on a daily basis, I commute 80 miles for work everyday, from north of their yard to south of Salt Lake City, I have been making this drive for 4 years and have dealt with their drivers every morning and afternoon for those 4 years. The company is unprofessional, the drivers will cut you off, tailgate you and ride in restricted lanes without even thinking twice that they are driving 80,000+ pound vehicles. When you call the company to report drivers, they either don't answer or don't take it seriously. If you are driving down I-15 and there is a semi blowing sand, rock, dirt, or debris on the road it is 9/10 times a truck from Tramcor, they are either lazy and wont cover loads and clean dump spouts or they are cheap and wont buy tarps, again not a worry in the world because the drivers know their boss will protect them, by not holding them accountable for their laziness. It is obvious that the ownership and management is substandard and has zero class and zero cares about how they look to the casual observer otherwise they would straighten out the issues with their company from complaint handling, to driver training, to drivers willfully and blissfully violating lane restrictions, speed limits, follow distances and covering loads, instead they allow their drivers to run rampant and terrorize drivers along the Wasatch front all in the name of making a buck, and they will continue to do so until they kill someone and the legal system holds the whole company accountable. So while as many of the reviews claim they are a great family owned business who treats employees great, they are a dangerous company with no safety policy and no desire to fix their issues. If you need further proof of their unsafe nature even the DOT says they are above the national average for unsafe trucks removed from service during inspections. The national average for 2023 so far is 22%, Tramcor is at 25%, of 59 vehicles examined 15 have failed. If you are a potential client, do you want your shipment late because the company doesn't maintain vehicles, logs, drivers, and trailers? I'd go somewhere else, and actually get my load."

"We used Tramcor for their Forklift Service because we do not have a loading dock or a forklift. In the past we have used other local carriers, but our material comes on 10' to 12' skids which are too long for most lift gates. It is also very difficult to get the skids onto the lift gate using a pallet jack because they weigh 500-1,500 pounds. The last delivery that we had from one of the other local carriers resulted in the skid falling off the lift gate from all the way up and it took us months to come to a resolution over the damage that was done to the material. It is not that the company was bad, it was that they did not have the equipment needed to deliver to our shop. Yesterday we had our first delivery from Tramcor. The Operator parked in our lot in a way that was not blocking access for the other tenants in our building, which has been a problem, and worked very well with our receiving personnel, which also has been a problem. From the time the truck pulled up and had the skid delivered inside one of our bay doors was less than 10 minutes. This is significant because it has usually taken about 30 minutes and 4 men just to get the skid on the ground, and then we would have to break down the skid in the parking lot and hand carry all of the material into the back of the shop. This eliminated a lot of down time and now we will be able to schedule time to inventory the material that works better for our shop crew. They also did not charge us an additional fee for paying with a purchase card, we like that. We would recommend Tramcor to anyone who like us does not have a dock or a forklift and needs local deliveries. I have attached a couple pictures of our material delivered inside our door for reference 2/26/18 An update, we just had our second delivery, I didn't include a picture because it would be identical to our first ones. I worked with Josh and he already had all of my information ready from last time we used them. All Jokes aside, the truck operator showed up while I was using the restroom, and was gone before I got out. The report I was given from our staff was pretty much the same. The truck operator parked so that he wasn't blocking in all of our neighbors. Our manager in the back showed him where we wanted the bundle and he put it there, and quickly. The truck operator was polite, easy to work with, and didn't talk down to our staff. Using Tramcor has changed the attitude of my staff when we have orders from this supplier. Most of them did not like it when we brought a shipment in to refill our inventory and understandably given our experience in the past from above and that most of the truckers were more megalomaniac than helpful. These are just a few of the reasons my staff and I recommend Tramcor"
