"We took our child in to see Dr Abrams for an ear infection which we saw on our otoscooe at home. We were told her ears looked normal . We figured maybe it was just irritated and he knew the difference. A few weeks later we end up in the ER. The kids had woken up screaming in the middle of the night with puss coming out her ear."
"Took time to take care of my child, the nurse working with him was very nice and respectful as well. Thanks for working after hours to Jeff and nurses and receptionists."
"I love alpine pediatrics, I've always had a great experience taking my child there and Jeff is definitely among the best of the best!"
"Here is my review of Alpine pediatrics of Pleasant Grove. I have had my children at this location for a few years. Mostly we have been pleased with the care and service provided. However I am shocked at the response I just received. We told the nurse we were planning on a home birth. We are not wanting to have all the medical interventions and restrictions most hospitals require or see as standard procedures. When we told the nurse what we were doing and asked if they could assist us in obtaining a PKU test, instead of assisting us with this request for the health of our baby we were told that we would not be allowed to have our baby be a patient at their clinic because they require all the children they see to be born in a hospital. Are you kidding me???? You won't take our new child because we would like to have a home birth? What a joke!!! Then when we confirmed that was what the nurse was saying she said yes, we won't take the new baby as a patient. We told her we would just move all of our children to a new provider and she said, "OK" and hung up the phone. WOW!!!! Nice customer care and service Alpine Pediatrics. I am very disappointed in the customer service and lack of support for women who are looking to take back their birthing experience. Women have been having babies outside hospitals for thousands of years and only in hospitals for less than a 100. How sad that a group that claims to be focused on the well-being of children do not support making the very first experience an infant can have the least invasive. Because women choose to take a more connected approach, Alpine Pediatrics disassociates themselves from that child and parent. So, in summary because a woman chooses how she wants to bring their child into this world, Alpine Pediatrics will not be a part of your experience - only if you go the route of the hospital and give all of your decision making power over to doctors and health care administration. Good to know where the focus of Alpine Pediatrics truly is, on the income generated from the hospital rounding and less on the best option for child birth, connectivity with baby and emotional and physical health (if you are low risk and this is a true possibility for you, which statistics say that 95% of births are uncomplicated). I'd also like to note that my wife and the mother of my child is a BSN nurse who is completely well versed in this arena."
