"Contractor beware! Julie Hagan hired The Art Of Fixing for multiple projects and added numerous things to the initial bid. When it came time to pay she decided she didn't want to pay. After a lawsuit and an appeal 2 judges ruled the same verdict. The Art of Fixing did the work and Julie Hagen had to pay the remaining balance plus court fees."
"Buyer beware! Do NOT have The Art of Fixing do any work on your home without a WRITTEN bid. They charged us more than double what we had verbally agreed to do AND did poor quality work! We agreed to let them start working right away since they had some time in their schedule, but then we got stuck with a very unreasonable bill to pay weeks later. Tanner charged us $7,500. for painting, when we had verbally agreed to $3,000. I had to hire a second painter to finish the job since Art of Fixing only painted using one coat of paint. It was a big waste of time and money. I feel like we were scammed. Get a bid in WRITING before you let them start working."
