"I went one day to get some oil paints and they were locked up. There was a button you can push to signify you needed assistance. I pushed the button then waited maybe 5 min then pushed it again. I did this multiple times for maybe 15-20 min and then I went to find someone and they said they will have someone go over and assist me…. It never happened. Another time I went with my wife to stock up on some yarn. There was a pretty good sale for yarn going on so the shelves were pretty much empty. They did have the boxes of yarn to restock the shelves on the top shelf. I’m a pretty tall dude so there was no issue with me reaching a box and seeing if what we needed was inside. I understand me doing this was wrong. But then an associate that saw me doing this just came over and just stared at me looking in these boxes. When I noticed him just mean mugging me for looking in the boxes, I just laughed a little and said “I’m probably not suppose to get those boxes right”? He said no I’m not because if a box falls and I get hurt they need to pay for it. I understand where he was coming from. But if instead of taking a couple minutes to get some of these boxes down and restock he just walked away. When I asked another associate if I can get some help with getting some yarn out of the boxes (because the other associate was gone before I could ask) they said they will find someone to assist. I waited maybe 20 min and nobody ever showed up to help."
"This store is run poorly. I have placed 3 orders for curbside pick up, all 3 times they have canceled most of the order due to inventory inaccuracies. Then, when you go in to pick up your order, it is a long wait behind at least 5 shoppers as the cashier is overwhelmed and unable to even say hello or call another staff member for help. It's sad, I used to enjoy shopping here but I will now be looking elsewhere. When in the store, it is trashed and they closed the bathrooms to shoppers. People with disabilities, who need a bathroom are being discriminated against. Hence, why I had to resort to the online pick up method, that is clearly to much for the staff to handle."
"Just watched someone at the cutting table named Daniel berate the poor kid helping him at the cutting table then walk away instead of helping with the line. It was very awkward standing there watching this. Also, whoever is in the sewing machine area would rather talk on her phone about their plans then help people find a bobbin case for a sewing machine (which are behind her desk). I didn’t know the exact model number which one I needed, but there was only one option, soooo… why would you hold it hostage instead of letting me decide….? I am not the best seamstress but continually trying to get better, but having very unhelpful and rude people at a the fabric store is very discouraging…."
"I just loved most everything this store surprised me for good that was my first time to be in this place"
"This location has been going down hill for awhile. Now, it’s inexcusable. No bathroom and encouraging their customers to go to other stores for a restroom. Not okay. See the line? That’s one person working the registers, she’s also having to do curbside orders too. There’s no help and the store is a disaster. This location needs to be closed or redesigned along with a new manager. Joann DO better for your customers and employees. That’s horrible."
