Reviews
"Angelus is a venue that allows for many new producers and artists to branch out and explore their field. Which is awesome. However, most, if not all, of the theatrical productions put on here are directed and produced by people who do not pay their actors. Said actors are expected to contribute their time for rehearsals AND help build sets, provide costumes, and advertise for the production. If you see theatrical performances here, know that you are not in any way financially supporting the actors, and that the venue and producers are not either. Edit: Angelus continues to comment on this review and insist that I site my sources. My sources are the actors in these productions. I kindly ask Angelus to site their own sources proving my claims false or accept that this is the review they get. Thank you."
"We enjoyed Krampus Karol very much! The chairs were ok, and the temperature was perfect. I love unique small venues, so this was perfect!"
"It was ok. Small. Intimate. We saw the Linda Ronstadt tribute band. They're a new group, so it was basically their first concert. It was nice. We enjoyed it. I had no idea this theatre was even there until that night. I'd go again if something else comes up that interests me."
"Great fun. Nice cast. Friendly staff. We attended "Robin Hood, the Musical." I really liked it. There was a dance that actually had me laughing out loud. The play did go a touch long. I will attend more."
"I attended the First Annual You Guys Shred Fest. It was a concert featuring four bands. Poet Bones, Sunfish, Queenadilla, and Downriver. All bands were great fun, talented and entertaining. I talked with most of them and they were very kind people. I will return to see them play again. The venue was very nice. It was interesting in that it was an old theatre and they had aged items on display which was very cool to look at. Some of the items I had never seen before. I recommend this venue for a show or concert - it is well-suited for both!"
