"From Western Woods, we've been obtaining mineral specimens to use as bases for our gemtrees for many years (before 2020, we averaged selling over 800 gemtrees per year). We've been exceptionally happy with 1) the Quality of the minerals 2) warmth and helpfulness of the staff 3) incredible packaging and shipping materials to keep the specimens safe, 4) wide variety of specimens and 5) ease of using their web site. We've bought several thousands of dollars of specimens per year, and passed on the site to our children who also make gemtrees, and they also continue to use Western Woods. "I haven't visited this establishment, but I did receive one of their products as a gift. It's a medicine bag that came with an arrowhead and 4 stones. The reason for the 1-star rating as that all the stones and the arrowhead are adhered to the card with industrial strength super glue. The stones are impossible to remove from the glue, making this gift valueless to me. I mean, the medicine bag itself wasn't ruined by glue, and that's nice... but c'mon."
