"They need to teach their staff how to treat & talk to customers. The dark brown/black hair girl was extremely rude & argumentative, greeted me with the time they’re closing with an attitude rushing me vs asking if they could help find what I’m looking for, lacking basic people skills, etc. Wrong line of work with that attitude."
"I went in today (March 1) to return a product I purchased on January 30 (31 days ago) because the product was defective or old when I bought it, it was half the amount it should have been and was hard. No big deal at all, but I came to get my money back and was told since I bought it two months ago I couldn't get my money back and would have to exchange it for a new one. I asked what the return policy was, she said 60 days but since I bought it in "January and it's now March, that's two months" so I couldn't get my money back. I nicely explained it was Jan 30 and today is March 1 so that's only 31 days and she hesitates and said she will try. I explained I didn't want to open their packaging for a new one and just wanted my money back. She told me life happens and it's not that deep. You're probably thinking I was being rude to her but I promise I was not. When I came in in January she berated an older lady for talking too loud. She doesn't have a name tag so I don't know her name but she's extremely unprofessional and seems to be on the defense with anyone that comes in. She them told me the item isn't on the receipt and I said yes it is. She then read every item in an annoyed tone and found it. She gave me cash back and tossed the coins rudely on the desk. I love Sally's but this location is awful with terrible customer service."
"Sally's is pretty standard in terms of inventory from place to place. However, the woman working at this store is by FAR the best beauty supplier employee I've ever come across, and I became a hairdresser in 2007, have done hair in 3 states and been to countless Sally's, CosmoProf's, hair conventions and worked with independent beauty reps. She wasn't just selling something, she listened to what I needed, knew what (all) her products did, what would work for my situation, and was cheerful and authentic from the time I walked in until I left. Not just with me, but the other customers. I have never seen someone with that level of engagement that wasn't just out for the sale. If she's not the manager, her manager needs to be commended for retaining her and she needs her own store. I wish I got her name (petite with straight black hair in a high messy bun)."
"HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! The girl upfront, and the gentleman assisting her were not adhering by the policy that clearly states " that SHEARS and electrical appliances are returnable with receipt ONLY and within 60 days. The receipt doesn't state anywhere it cannot be returned if open or unopen. I was returning shears and the girl was very rude in telling me that she's doing me a "favor" and Will allow an in store credit, and it's not worth her energy. I this was contradicting to what she originally argued that because it was opened they wouldn't be able to accept it, period. Both their logic and attitude were unfitting and unnecessary. In addition, I was able to return without an issue at a different Sally's."
"I ran in there maybe 5 minutes before they had to close. I drove for 20 minutes from Draper because it was the only Sally's open in the area. I needed a temporary color for my daughter's hair. Urgently. I worked in retail before. Salespeople rarely happy when customer comes in right before they close the store and all ready to go home. Kassidee was nice. She and another girl with blond hair assisted me and helped me to make a right choice of products. My daughter's hair turned out exactly how I wanted it. Just wanted to say thank you, because it would not be possible without you."
