"My boyfriend and I were in this parking lot and saw a person with Down’s Syndrome just sitting in front of the doors- black feet from no shoes OR socks, no gloves, no hat, and behaving in a very distressed manner (constantly flailing, rubbing his head, sniffling, looking around in panic, rubbing his knee, etc). All of this in 30 degree weather. We called the police and just as they showed up, people finally loaded him and others (who came from inside) into a white van. They must have seen we were diligently watching and rushed everyone to go because until the police arrived, not a single soul from inside this building/“business” checked on him or brought him inside or offered him something warm besides the sweatshirt and sweatpants he was wearing. It was sickening to see. It’s different for a functioning adult to be outside for an extended time, but when it’s someone who’s mentally disabled who is sitting on the ground looking like they are frightened and freezing, that’s just wrong. Keep your children/family away from here because they’re signs of neglect and endangerment. I’m not sure how long that person was out there for, but my boyfriend and I were there for easily 30 minutes. I hope this review helps someone."
