"My child was attending this daycare for almost 2 years and things were going somewhat well until the day they forgot to pick up my child from school. She gets out at 3:20, I get a call at 4:50 saying that my daughter was still at the school and no one came to pick her up. They tried calling the daycare multiple times since they were on the emergency contact list and no one answered until the school texted a group chat to EVERYONE on my daughter’s emergency list, that’s when they decided to respond and finally pick up my child. I confronted Amy about the situation once I got to the daycare and she acted like it was no big deal and it was a simple mistake. Forgetting about my child that I pay her to just pick up from school is not a “little mistake” I can’t imagine what could have happened to my child if a school employee didn’t see her standing by herself by the school. And for the owner to act like it was no big deal, plus charging me for watching my child for 30 min.. absolutely absurd."
"This daycare has to be the worst thing we made our baby experience. The mom-guilt of how awful this place turned out to be still breaks my heart knowing I willingly took my baby here. I will always think twice about letting people who claim to be “just like family” watch our baby. Two particular staff members (Amy and Sabrina) were the most questionable beings I’ve left my baby with. Whenever they were on duty, our baby would come back with a diaper rash so brutal that our baby’s skin would look like it’s peeling. Hearing your 10 month old crying in pain from this is so painful to experience. We always felt like there were too many kids for this daycare to handle because of the basic things being neglected. Our baby would come back to us with dried snot on her face and leftover food on her mouth and cheeks without so much as a wipe down or change of clothes. Things our baby went to daycare with or in her diaper bag kept going missing like blankets, bottles, sippy cups, shoes, and jackets. When we’d ask, the response we’d get is “Nowhere in the policy does it say we are at fault for any lost items or responsible for replacing them.” That’s reasonable but when it happens so often with so many different items? That’s very suspicious and super frustrating at best. My mom instincts are still screaming that I didn’t take any mama bear actions on the below red flags. Do NOT dismiss these things the way I initially did. - Unexplained bruises and large scratches on our babies upper thighs, temples, cheekbones, back of the neck. I’m - Sabrina knowingly took kids in who were sick without a doctors note and also took kids in when she was sick without providing a negative COVId test during the COVId and RSV uprise. We also asked about a refund or a credit rolling over since we already paid but don’t feel comfortable taking our baby in to a caregiver that had admitted to severe cold/ flu symptoms. Instead of being understanding about our concern for our baby’s health and how to be compensated, she sent a text to us telling us we’re drama and that our baby is kicked out of daycare since we asked about it. She also insisted, “Haven’t you gone to work sick before?! Kids are going to come in sick!” - Staff freely complaining about other children and their parents to us then hearing other parents repeating gossip they heard from the staff members as well (not knowing it was about our baby and situations we’ve been in too) - Our baby used to love going to certain staff members but towards the end of our contract we started noticing that our baby would kick and scream uncontrollably to get away from them. The last visit she had with this daycare…we only left her for 45 minutes. When I went back without notifying Sabrina, she opened the door and was flustered seeing me. My baby had been crying the whole time and all I got at the door was my baby handed to me, her diaper bag, and a complaint that my baby’s sleep schedule is ruining things for her. I had so many questions about that conclusion but instead of a discussion we got another text saying she’s kicking our baby out of daycare and to have a happy holiday. This is just a few things to scratch the surface. All in all, we do not trust our baby to be with this daycare nor could we ever recommend them to friends, family, or our worst enemy. It’s that distasteful and heartbreaking. I forgot to mention that I initially shared this same review on their FB business page but realized a few days later they had blocked me in order to keep a 5 Star rating. I was also informed that since my review there has been an initiative to have parents add their positive reviews as well as have several updated program activities posted on the pages feed. Good for them but why start now? Seems very very misleading and dishonest."
"Sabrina is unprofessional. Talks about other parents to other parents. Doesn’t know how to handle adult conversation with concerns and questions. She’s been sick and still allowed kids to be cared for by herself, which I didn’t bring my child that week. This place allows you to bring your sick child to daycare and exposes everyone. They’ve been called by the state for to many kids and I had to pick up my daughter after I have she’s been there for a hr to be in compliance. Multiple occasions where I’ve picked my daughter up with a full diaper and/or has had rashes. They fed my daughter cows milk when she only nursing. They’ve also fed another child my daughter’s stored pumped milk. It just seems as if they just wing it and want to collect a check, furthermore when I have concerns they freak out and threaten to kick my daughter out. They’ve also accused me of having issues with paying. It was a horrible experience and I’m glad we left bc my daughter started to feel the bad energy from Sabrina’s personal dramas that got into the business side of things."
