"My daughter attended ABC for almost three years and loved every minute of it. Mila truly made her feel so special and took such good care of her. My daughter can be a little shy and timid but Mila did a wonderful job of making her feel comfortable and loved. ABC is very clean, organized and is great at communicating with parents. I would always look forward to getting pictures throughout the day and seeing my daughter have so much fun! We have loved our experience here and are so grateful to her teachers."
"I was very disappointed with the care my 3 year old received at this daycare. The first few months I loved it and it seemed great! Then one day the owner asked me to meet with her about my 3 year olds "behavior". She gave me 6 weeks to change her behavior or I wasnt to bring her back anymore. The concerns were: she doesnt follow instructions, she doesnt stay sitting when asked, she wakes the other kids during nap time cause she doesnt nap, she frequently uses the restroom and gets all wet from the sink. I worked tirelessly with my toddler to remind her to listen and stay still and quiet. Reminded her on the way to school and followed up with the teachers daily and talked with my daughter on our way home about how she could improve or praising her on her good days. During our 6 weeks we had to change her behavior, I would say she improved and was doing better 3 days of the 5 she went. I want to add that the owner also knew our family is in a unique situation as my daughters dad is incarcerated and she is dealing with the trauma of that yet we were given no compassion towards that situation. The conversation about her behavior came merely only 5 months after he had been arrested, so it was still fresh for her. The owner recommended I get my toddler into therapy, during our 6 weeks we had to improve her behavior. I had her assessed by 2 different kinds of child therapists. Both assessments came back normal saying she is very mature for her age but could benefit from sensory therapy with an occupational therapist (which is pretty common in toddlers). So I started her with an occupational therapist but they had a wait list for her 1st appointment that was 6 weeks out - I communicated this with the owner. My toddler always came home feeling disappointed in herself that she wasnt meeting her teachers high expectations for a spirited 3 year old. And I felt horrible constantly having to talk with her about dimming her light to please other adults. I am also not one to not admit when my child is being a problem - I was very open to seeking help for my daughter if she was in need of it and coaching her to be her best self. There was also a huge language barrier. The owner spoke broken english and the main teacher spoke no english at all. I think that was a huge problem with my toddler who has only been talking for only 1.5 years now and so she couldnt understand what the teachers wanted of her and they couldnt understand what she was needing from them. I am all for bilingual, but this was too hard for my toddler, and I would imagine others. After our 6 weeks was up, I was honestly hopeful that her teacher saw her improvement and would allow her to stay but I was told they "didnt have the tools" to handle my daughter and frankly I didnt as her mom either and I would need to find a new place for her to attend. My heart was broken. Although this facility is clean, and organized compared to others in the area, I would strong advise if you have a toddler that is even slightly a handful or is more spirited with their feelings and feels things BIG and has a hard time holding still, to find another place other than this one. Since moving my daughter to a place where she can be herself, she is so happy, and loved and naps for them every day. She comes home proud of who she is and glowing. She loves her teachers and they love her. And they have no "special tools" just compassion and kindness in their hearts for little ones."
"I enjoyed bringing my daughter here for the time that I've needed childcare. I have always been distrustful when it comes to childcare. It really is the best in the area after checking out a few others. It is great in organization, cleanliness, security and communication. The daycare center and coordinator made me feel confident and secure about my decision from the beginning and throughout. I highly recommend especially for first-timers within a daycare setting."
"Nayret was so patient and so welcoming to my sweet little girl, who was so anxious to go to daycare for her first time at about 17 months old. She would cry when Id leave her for the first couple of weeks, but the staff would send me pictures of her playing and enjoying herself soon after, which helped me feel so relieved. As of now, (now 22 months old) she no longer cries and gets excited when we pull up to the location! It makes me so happy to take her somewhere she loves. For Valentine’s Day, they hired a photographer to come take pictures of the kids and even did her hair so cute for the occasion. They sent me copies of the pictures. I know she is taken care of there and am so grateful we had them, and am so sad we have to transfer because we have a little one on the way and the daycare is full. Wish we could be here forever. Thank you!!!"
"From the moment I called Mila asking if she had an open spot for my babe, she was just so pleasant. She was very welcoming and accommodated my schedule without complaining. I showed up to her house and handed a complete stranger my baby. And fortunately, she (baby) took to her immediately! I almost left to work but because this place was new, I had to know what I'm leaving my baby at. I asked to tour and she delightfully agreed. The door has a keypad that remains locked. So the place is super secure. There's a big play area for the kids to do what they do best. She showed me where my babe would be sleeping. And what she was eating. She listened to me tell her about my child's needs. She asked for proof of vaccinations and when I told her my sister was going to be picking her up, she requested a picture. Which made me so happy. She sent me pics and a video throughout the day which eased my mind. She responded to me when I had questions or concerns. Mila is amazing ❤❤ I'll Def be using her again!"
