They have a great system to guide our child back to a healthy emotional, social, and physical state and grateful that they are holding our daughter responsible for her actions. We are mostly grateful that our daughter’s therapists (Caleb, Kyle, Charity) are experienced with our child’s issues and they are treating not only our daughter individually but also our relationship with our daughter. This mama bear searched high and low looking for a facility that would take care of our girl as we would while helping her heal and keeping her safe! That is exactly what Havenwood is! The staff here are truly amazing! They are professional, caring and they quickly became my daughter’s second family! There is great communication from all departments and they coordinate and work well to collaborate all areas of care for their clients. The clinical team is top notch, have such a vast array of skills and methods, Charity & Kyle have helped our daughter become her best self! We also loved how this program focuses on the entire family to help set us all up for success. We are eternally grateful for Havenwood!!"

"Michelle: she was a great staff but sadly was not able to take on the students anymore so she joined the team of nurses. No matter what position she was in she was an amazing person in general, she was a little lenient but still followed the rules 100% of the time, she never said anything hurtful to anyone even if it was an accident its never happened she didn't slip up, not even once. when I first got to havenwood I was a hot mess but that didn't stop Michelle from being there for me. Once she got to know me better she knew that i just needed someone to listen and let me vent without trying to solve the problem right away, but when it started to get out of hand she put a stop to it immediately. Most of the time she went out of her way for other people even when she had her own plans, of course she didn't drop everything in her life just for a student, she has a life too duh. anyways Michelle is awesome she deserves a raise shes earned it! Thank you Michelle!"

"I’m giving Havenwood five stars because of some of the caring staff there. I am very sad that Christina, clinical Director is leaving. She is very competent and caring. I have to mention Jessica Wilkin also! Jessica has gone above and beyond to answer any questions or concerns that I have had. She also has tried her best to accommodate travel plans for us to be able to visit our granddaughter at Havenwood as well as have visits at home. No place is perfect but I do believe that most of the staff are very dedicated and caring people. No place is perfect by any means but I believe my granddaughter is getting help and is in the best place for her to get the therapy needed."

"Our daughter has been at Havenwood for 1 year, age 12-13. While she had a slow start at recognizing her need to be there she began showing major progress month 10-12 and now moving forward with goals, being engaged in her therapy, family connections and her overall understanding of herself and how she functions in the world around her. We have been so blessed by all of the Havenwood staff. The team in its entirely work endlessly for these girls. Showing and giving boundaries and consistency while loving them through their struggles and celebrating their successes. We are so fortunate for everyone who has been a part of our daughter's journey. When I first called in and spoke with Lynn - what a blessing she was. To know she truely understood our desperation as a parent and the desire for good to come from this journey, the support she gave us meant everything and she made it all so easy for us. We have enjoyed the parent support group ran by Charity who has given us great perspective to the struggles our daughter has gone through while supporting our feelings and needs as well. All of our daughters therapists have been amazing and have allowed us to parent from afar and still work through the tough issues that landed us in this situation. Jessica has been amazing- especially during our recent visit. We hadn't seen our daughter in 12 months and while we have both put in the work to progress in our relationship, you never know what can happen during a visit. Jessica supported us by by letting us know anytime things felt like they weren't going okay- she could go back and we could start again later. This was huge for us because it allowed us to talk about hard things and work on our communication as we have been practicing in family therapy while allowing us to have a safety net and a facility that understood. When we changed our visit plan to include more time together she gathered medications and clothing and supported us with encouragement through it all. I could keep going and going with all of the amazing staff there. I recently went to the family seminar and was extremely impressed with everyone there. Communication is a strong suit for Havenwood and the hearts of everyone there are in the right place. My daughter continues to tell me she feels safe there and that she is treated with respect and understanding even when things get difficult for her. My daughter speaks about working in this type of setting in the future as she feels these staff members have really led the way for her. We are so thankful to Havenwood for everything they have supported our family through. We see true change happening and look forward to the rest of this journey."
