"This is the only fuel option in Baker. I highly suggest filling up here when leaving Great Basin National Park, as there's nothing close to here for many miles. This gas station is unmanned, so it's credit card only. When I was there, the tap to pay wasn't working, so the card had to be entered into the slot."
"This former fuel station building has been boarded up and abandoned. Surprisingly, the fully automated fuel pumps still work. There is a number posed on the pump, in case, if something goes wrong. We put in just enough to get us to Ely, and we paid $4.79. I'm glad it still worked. It would be scary to to be out there with your card stuck in the pump as it was getting dark."
"A big gravel lot behind a gas station with 6 full hookup RV sites. Infrastructure not well maintained. Separate dump station and a small unheated building with 2 bathrooms/showers and a washer/dryer. Close to Great Basin National Park; 10 minutes. No picnic tables or shelters. Very spartan. Owned by Baker Ranch, who contracts with Stargazer Inn (very nice folks) for reservations. $40/night. Any size rig. Gas station prices are very high but, they are the only fuel stop for miles. There is no attendant; if the credit car reader on the pump doesn’t work, you won’t get any fuel. No number posted to call for assistance."
"Stayed at the RV park. $25/night for full hookups. Nothing fancy but it got the job done. Very close to Great basin National park. Great night sky views. We could see the milky way from here! The people who run the place are very friendly and helpful."
"It's rare that you pay 25 bucks a night for a full hookup. That said, the "park" is a gravel parking lot on the back of a fuel spot. But, you get stunning views of the Great Basin to the east and the mountains of the Snake Range to the west. And it's only 8 miles from the Lehman Caves visitor center. Bathrooms are rustic, warm and relatively clean. Wifi is non existent."
