"I usually only write reviews when I have a really good experience or a really bad experience because average is really nothing to write about. Unfortunately, this is one of those really bad experiences… This is the first time I have purchased from FJP and with a 4.9 review rating and saving of $20 per door, I thought it was a win-win situation. My order was for two custom double doors for closets. When I first saw the doors sitting in their warehouse, my gut instinct was to reject them and have them redo them correctly because it was very obvious the doors had issues (the doors did not line-up properly in the middle). I went against my instinct and took them home anyway because I didn’t want to keep waiting and thought I could make them fit right. However, as I dug deeper and looked closer and after removing the temporary block of wood holding them together, it just kept getting worse and worse. There was no way a professional assembled these doors. These doors, by far, were the worst pre-hung doors I have ever seen / purchased (including purchases made at the 2 big box stores). I mean there was absolutely nothing done right except the door style, size and hardware selection. Look at the provided pictures and you tell me if you think they were professionally built. Here is the final list of everything wrong with these two doors (and yes, both doors had very much the exact same problems): * Doors were curved / bent. * Doors set in Jamb so the bends/curves were in opposite directions compounding the issue where the double doors would not line up correctly (one bending in and the other bending out). * Hinges were not even set in the doors or jamb correctly. * Hinges not square with the jamb. * Jamb had cracks/splits in it because they did not pre-dill for the screws before attaching the hinges. * Jamb material was made of cheap finger jointed wood with flaws throughout. * Jamb corners not glued and did not line up correctly. * Jambs were also curved / bent. * Jambs nails not set correctly (2 per door were still popping out). * Jamb nail holes not filled in. * Jambs not primed. * The doors had very dark and visible finger prints all over. Seriously, they couldn’t even wipe the door down to make it clean and presentable before selling it. Final thoughts: I learned two things about this purchase. 1) I will never buy anything from FJP again because of the junk quality in these doors. 2) How to completely fix and rebuild a pre-hung door correctly with very flawed material. I had to spend an extra 8 hours correcting everything that was not done correctly in the first place. It was a complete waste of money and time dealing with the inferior quality that FJP provided."

"These guys are great. They made it so easy for me to get the materials I needed. Jaime was super helpful and was able to recommend some materials that ended up being exactly what I needed. I drove 30 minutes to do business with these guys and probably passed 4 or 5 other competitors on the way. I’ll definitely use them for the many projects I’ll have over the years."
