Avenue Bakery

"I stumbled across this place after we went to Thanksgiving point. I am always searching for a good gluten-free treat whenever I can. I saw that Avenue Bakery had some options and went to go check them out. The cafe was super cute, and they have their own gluten-free dessert case that is separated from the gluten treats. There were lots of options from cupcakes, cakes, cream puffs, tarts, cheesecakes, muffintops, and more. The lemon cheesecake was super tasty! The cream puffs were simple and had plenty of filling. The fruit tart was okay... the crust was good, but the filling just didn't have much flavor, same with the strawberry cheesecake. Everything is very good if you don't like overly sweet. I want to try more of their chocolate options, I think I picked too many simple flavors, and other than the lemon, they all kind of tasted the same. I will be back, though, to try their cupcakes and muffin tops. They looked super good, too."

"This place used to be fresh and clean and really good donuts. Now it seems they’ve doubled their prices, stopped cleaning and maintaining their shop AND shrunk the size of their donuts. We ordered some French Toast today and it had someone’s hair in it. Asked if I could get a receipt and I was told their Clover PayService machine that takes cards was down and no go on the receipt. Looking for the silverware for the French Toast; nope, told the dishwasher was broken..gave us a plastic knife and fork. Last but not least, the only three tables available all looked as though a whirlwind had dropped piles of chewed food on them. We wiped down one of the tables with copious amounts of water and napkins. Not sure if the place is under new management or what…spent about $18 for French Toast and a couple donuts. If I had the receipt I could tell you exactly. Awesome."

"Love this place! We take our kids here for breakfast every once in a while. Our kids enjoy sitting on the couches and playing with some of the games while eating. The donuts are great!"

""smells like heaven" is what my 14 year old said when we walked in... He was right, it did smell amazing. They gave a huge variety, more donuts than the Lehi corner bakery, as well as cakes, pastries...For $20 my whole family was thrilled with their own dessert! They have an entire selection of gluten-free options that look amazing... But I love my gluten so I didn't try any. I have been meaning to try this place for awhile and I am so happy we went! We will return again soon!"
