New Image Day Spa

"All I can say is.. wow. The atmosphere alone is enough to want to come back. The hallway is completely decorated in greenery, made me feel like I was in a scene from Alice in wonderland. They walk you into their changing room and you change into a robe and slippers and then they walk you into their waiting room, and the waiting room made me feel like I was ascending into heaven with how beautiful and relaxating it was. Don't even get me started on the massage. I'm a massage therapist myself and I have to honestly say that was the best massage I've ever had. My massage therapist was Jamie, she took great care in meeting my goals for the session and was very kind. They really care about their clients here. Don't skip out on this experience, I promise you won't regret it."

"I don't usually leave reviews but felt that with what you spend to treat yourself to a day at the spa its worth noting some of the things that aren't as great. I haven't been here for MANY years. One of the reasons why I stopped going was that I had a few to many not great massages. We ended up booking here because they could accommodate our group of 6. Booking was quite difficult we had to have someone physically go in to get the appointment scheduled and I had to make a change two days prior and had to hold for 20 minutes just to talk to someone. Upon our arrival I went to use the restroom and found one toilet clogged and absolutely disgusting and my friend also went to the restroom and the other stall would not flush. I get that things can happen, we were the first appointments of the day so it was weird to me that between closing and opening that was undetected. We ended up using the men's bathroom. Things like that happen, and they were apologetic so they had good customer service towards the issue. The massage. I don't know if the girl that worked on me was new or what, but I almost got up multiple times. I did just have the basic massage and asked for medium pressure. I didn't realize that deep tissue was an option I could have added, I missed that on the sheet so that was my bad. However, I don't think my muscles were even touched. I just got oils/lotion rubbed on me. As a former massage therapist, I was quite surprised on the technique.....I have had many, many massages and this one, being at a spa was extremely underwhelming. My back was massaged in the same spot for what felt like 10 minutes, she kept checking either her phone or a timer in her pocket and just using one hand to make movement. On foot was massaged and one wasn't, one leg got 5 minutes and the other got a few brushes. On top of that the music that was playing was constantly having static issues. This is not the therapists fault but it was HORRIBLE. I have never been excited for a massage to end. Out of the group of 6 of us, 4 of us had a similar experience. I was shocked that a well known spa had this caliber of therapists. We did follow up with pedicures and manicures and everyone did love those. I am sure there are many great one, this place has a good rating. It is clean and comfortable and the staff is nice. I don't know if this was an off day or what was happening. If you decide to go, maybe read the reviews and pick out therapists that are getting specifically named and make the request. I just wanted to share the experience to others can be aware as we had so many in our group unhappy."

"I really loved my massage and masseuse! She listened to me explain my trouble spots and worked out the knots and tension with very fluid movements! They were quick getting me checked in, got dressed and they came and got me within 10 minutes. The meditation room has a very nice ambiance with a giant glowing Himalayan salt wall. Hot beverages were refreshing and readily available. The massage room was very nice and clean with minimal discomfort! Coming back for sure! I just wish they had a free steam room."

"I had a two hour full body massage by Chris and it was absolute bliss. The salon is beautiful. The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in the door and quickly brought me back to the dressing room where I was able to get ready for my massage. Then they bring you into this beautiful room with a salt wall which I absolutely loved while you wait for your masseuse. They have drinks in here and the overall serenity of this room is so relaxing. I’ve never had a two hour massage before so I was a little apprehensive but I have no regrets. Chris was absolutely amazing. We did the full body massage and added cupping to the service, which was amazing for my sore muscles. If you’ve never had a full body massage or visited new Image day spy, I highly encourage you to do so."
