"Cindy is a fantastic, supportive and very kind doula. I'm so glad I found her. I had to be induced a little over 2 weeks early due to medical issues and my cervix was completely closed with no dilation. Therefore, my labor was very long totalling 53 hours. I went unmedicated for 48 of those hours. Cindy was there the entire time which was so fantastic. She was the support I needed to go unmedicated, for as long as I did, since she and my husband were the only ones allowed in the delivery room. She gave me frequent back and feet massages with oils and lotion that had a very soothing smell. She helped me ease labor pain with different labor positions. My favorite labor position was her pushing against my knees as I was seated to help open my hips and ease me through really bad back contractions. She was very supportive of any decision I made even when I went against my birth plan and I got the epidural due to body exhaustion. She was very encouraging, positive and calm through the whole laboring experience. I would highly recommend Cindy as a doula. I wish she still lived near me or I would use her again with future babies."
