"I went to Dr Clark a year ago because I had gone several months without menstruating. The visit was extremely brief and I quickly felt dismissed. I was notified by a text message that I was postmenopausal. Then I get a bill in May. I call the office and ask if this was submitted to my insurance because I hd not received anything from insurance indicating they had. They said they had and this was what was owed. Now I had just had a near death sepsis infection which had me hospitalized for several days so I put the bill aside. I get another bill in June and I physically go into the office because still nothing from insurance. They tell me they submitted it and this is what they owe. I verify they did have a copy of my insurance card. I am dealing with brain fog, healing from my infection, had TSH levels that were extremely out of wack, and fatigue that made it hard to get out bed. They send my bill to collections. Come November I can finally make it through a day with just one nap a day. I am finally able to communicate with my insurance and they have never received a bill from this Doctor. I call the office and they tell me that they did not know who the primary on my insurance was so they never submitted it. This never came up before. So it finally gets submitted to my insurance. Insurance pays the bill. Guess what? I get another bill from the Doctors office AND collections. I call the office and they tell me that is what I owe as the remainder. I call my insurance and we end up doing a 3 way call. Insurance tells them they were responsible for submitting the claim, I was not at fault and they have been paid their contracted amount. So after a long conversation we were able to clear that up. Except collections still wants me to pay them. Collections will not call the Doctors office with me and the Doctors office would not call collections with me. Collections wanted me to resubmit the invoice to insurance and I was never able to understand what that would accomplish. They finally told me that it could be 3 to 5 business days before they got updated info from the Doctors office.I waited 2 weeks. Finally got the bill absolved along with interest fees but my credit score is permanently dinged. And it turns out I did not go through menopause. I DID NOT GO THROUGH MENOPAUSE!!!!!!!!!!! I was dealing with a very real medical condition that Dr Clark should have been able to diagnose since I was displaying every single one of the possible signs of. Thank goodness I found a Doctor who took me seriously and is treating me. I can now go all day without a nap and for the first time in years I don't wake up feeling exhausted. I no longer have to force myself all day long to do every single task. I have energy and I am able to be physically active again.I am thankful I did not end up with a surprise pregnancy since I went for months thinking I had gone through menopause. Ladies, we deserve to be heard and acknowledged. We need to be able to go to a Doctor who is present with our symptoms. We should not be told in a text about a medical condition. We should not be lied to about billing.I think this office is disorganized and I feel I was grossly mistreated medically."
"I don't feel like he is a very caring doctor. When I have expressed concerns about my health it's like he brushes my concerns under the rug like it's not a big deal. I'm not a firs time mom. I'm very in tuned with my body. I also felt that he had more important things to do. Like taking a phone call in the middle of me being seen when I had to book to get seen by him two weeks out. I told him I had blacked out at work due to iron deficiency and weeks pryer to that I was struggling with my breathing and dizziness. Even having more episodes more frequently. He told me it was a one time thing. Just disregarded what I was saying."
"Very unprofessional, unhappy experience with Dr. Clark. He never recognize who you are, and when we meet he know nothing about my situations and symptoms , even we meet for more than five times and with him for more than 1 year. I decide to move to Utah fertility center, this experience absolutely waste my time for struggling on pregnancy."
"Disclaimer: This is specific to patients with PCOS. I went to Dr. Clark because I couldn't be seen soon enough by my usual OBGYN. Dr. Clark was able to quickly diagnose me with PCOS which I was grateful for! He was nice, quick, and to the point. Knowing that I was interested in getting pregnant, his treatment plan aligned with what I was interested in for the most part and seemed like the appropriate treatment plan at the time. One issue was that his team was hard for me to get ahold of and I didn't like that I could never speak to someone on the phone. It had to be via text or email which made it difficult to ask detailed questions or ask about my concerns. I decided then that I needed more attention and care for my PCOS/infertility journey. I am now seeing an Reproductive Endocrinologist which seems to be a better fit for me. They have been able to dive deeper into my condition and offer more specialized treatment, which I need. Overall I'm sure Dr. Clark is perfectly fine for the normal person needing OBGYN care! For me personally he just wasn't the right fit with my condition. Come to find out, I was also given inaccurate information regarding some of my lab work. Some of my levels were higher than they should have been but his team said they were normal. My new RE reviewed the same results and said that is not true, and that some of my levels were higher than they should be. I chalk this up to PCOS not being something an OBGYN specializes in, but just an FYI for future patients. If you have PCOS and want to get pregnant quickly, find an RE who can give you the treatment you may need for the disorder."
"Dr Clark is nice, but doesn’t listen very well. When my husband & i started first coming to him when we were struggling to get pregnant, he was kind of insensitive about it. He also never remembers who you are. I’ve been going to him for about 1 1/2 years & every time i go in i have to reintroduce myself & retell him almost everything about my medical history/ why i’m seeing him."
