"Dr. Ostler is the best gynecologist I've ever had. She is patient and she really listened to me. I have struggled with gynecological issues my entire life. She was able to root out the cause and provide effective treatment for me. I am forever grateful. I had to have some uncomfortable procedures done. She was so great at reducing my stress and making me feel as comfortable as possible. I followed her from Millcreek to the University of Utah. I'd love to know where she is now. "I would not recommend Dr. Ostler to my worst enemy! Run! She missed my end of pregnancy pre-eclampsia which led to blood pressure so high that I had a SCAD heart attack, and I am now left with an EF of 45 (heart ejection fraction of just 45)-- referring to my heart's reduced ability to pump blood throughout my body now."

"I was suggested to Dr Ostler from an infertility support group by a few patients. Sadly she is not well versed in IVF nor the high risks associated. Seemingly nor the high risks associated with a "Geriatric mother". Once I finally got pregnant, instead of doing a quick early scan to check for viability, her nurse simply scheduled a next available pregnancy appointment. I would have been 11 weeks 4 days at that point. She was helpful with general gyn. I'm beginning to wonder if the U holds their doctors back from actual treatment. I'm sure if you have basic general concerns and an uneventful pregnancy she may be good. The MA student that I saw on my 1 office visit a couple years ago was nice."

"Very kind, patient and knowledgeable. Dr. Ostler gave me the level of care I wanted (I am a fairly hands-off, independent patient, I don't like having a bunch of tests if they don't change anything, and I don't have a lot of questions or concerns about things in general) without making me feel like I was doing something wrong or not properly caring for my fetus. I was comfortable disclosing my personal issues and concerns with her when I needed to, and she was always understanding and professional. Would definitely recommend her to anyone expecting. Just schedule your appointments ahead of time, she gets booked fast!"
