Global Women's Studies Program

The Global Women's Studies Program in Provo, Utah, United States, is dedicated to celebrating the contributions of women throughout history and exploring the impact of structures, systems, and events on women's lives and social inequalities. Our minor, projects, events, research groups, and honor society provide opportunities for students to learn about the intersection of gender and other identities on a local and global scale. Students in the program develop skills in effectively communicating women's accomplishments and challenges, both orally and in writing. The program also encourages students to apply their knowledge to make informed choices in their own lives, improve the lives of women and families, and effect positive change in their communities.
