"If you like old abandoned industrial exploration, you have to go see this! I absolutely loved it. I could spend days exploring all the nooks and crannies. Tons of concrete and steel to marvel at. It is quite safe, but keep an eye out for holes in the floor. Lots of broken glass as well. I wore Chacos and was just fine. Go see the Silver King Mine, it is incredible!"
"Super cool place to check out. A little dangerous at times but it's fun to explore. Bring a respirator for exploring the actual shafts"
"This place is a neat little gem if you can sneak in... Yes there is some sketchy boards and floors but it’s a fun place. I don’t recommend kids. If you are a photographer this is a heaven for you!"
"I liked this one, the abandoned mining buildings were incredible. The trail up is fairly steep and has plenty of loose rock/gravel, but the way down was mostly dirt. There a few trails to choose from on the way down but just use the All Trails app and it’s an easy route to navigate. Took us 40 minutes up to the top, and probably 30 down."
"This Mine was a huge business back in the day. Now it is just old buildings that you have to be brave, maybe a little crazy, and super careful to wander around in. They are super interesting to see the old kilns and read about what happened in each of the buildings. I like hiking up here in the summer, and then after roaming around catching the tram down for free. You have to pay to ride up, but Park City will let you ride down for free."
