"Prescription refills take longer than reasonable timeframes. Its should not take more than 24 hours for refill approval and submittal to pharmacies, but it routinely does. You can speak with an actual human being and they will tell you your prescription was submitted, but you will never hear back if there is a problem. DO NOT waste your time leaving a voicemail. You will never receive a return phone call. PA's are great, but the business model is obviously to overbook patients and overload the PA's. There is a reason they have gone from multiple clinics around the city to just two. Every 3-6 months the PA you see (never a doctor) quits, moves, gets reassigned... always something."
"My mom has had horrible experiences with this office. She had been going to Allied Medical that is right down the street from where we live; all the sudden it closed a few months ago. We received no notice ahead of time that they would be closing and she had been going there for 10 years!! Now, she has to go to this location...what a hellish nightmare it has been for her. She tries to call to make appointments, ask questions about her medication and gets no help what-so-ever! They have actually hung-up on her, put her on hold for a long time!!!! I am disgusted at how they treat my mom!!! So, mom and I went last week. The experience was better than I thought it was going to be. Had a good conversation with her doctor. She did a good job of listening to our concerns. Mom was taken off multiple medications. The wait was a bit long, but that's normal when going to a doctor's appointment."
"I regularly like this place. But today I cant make my appointment. I have been calling since 7:50 this morning, it's 9:20 am now. I get a busy signal on all 3 numbers I have for them. How can I call early enough when they don't have thier phones on. I had my husband try too and he got a busy signal. My appointment is soon and I can't make it. And it's going to leave a mark on my paperwork. Yet it's thier fault. I'll be skeptical of making am.appointments in the future. I like Robin, she is courteous and patient. It's the front end I seem to have issue with. I wonder of thier lines are just down. If so then they should not leave a mark on my file. If not then they need to talk to thier front ends."
"Office is clean and staff has been professional and courteous every visit. Robin Avery is a NP and has always been caring and thoughtful at every appointment. She has never represented herself as anything else to me and has worked with my multiple doctors to find answers to my illnesses. My phone calls are returned promptly and the patient portal helps a lot when it's after hours or I need my medical information and lab results."
"As of right now I am not happy with how I have been treated by this particular office. First I call for a completely different doctor that no longer practices with the practice and I get told but we do have another DOCTOR that we can have you see her name is Dr. Avery and I say okay I mean I already have to see a new doctor since I got new insurance. I go to the clinic for my scheduled appointment and I get to speak to the doctor for all of 1 minute after my appointment was over. Come to find out after doing some research this Doctor is not a doctor at ALL she is a N.P. there are no doctors that work in this particular clinic. I have chronic insomnia. the N.P. told me she wanted me to start all the way at the bottom and work my way up on the meds to see what would work for me since I was prescribed Ambien 10MG right off the bat and she thought that was just not okay and I could possibly do fine with a medication not quite as strong. I was totally fine with that so she put me on a very low dose insomnia medication and said if it doesn't work call me. after the first night I knew it wouldn't work at all it was like a prescribed Benadryl. Fast forward to today I have gone 8 days taking about 3 times what the medication says to on the bottle in hopes that it would work better! I am on about 2-3 hrs of sleep a night and have been calling them and leaving voicemails since the day after my appointment to get something different with no call backs. Falling asleep at the wheel and not able to focus by day 3 no matter the amount of coffee I drink. I finally just call scheduling and get completely irritated at her and oop a nurse is available in less than 5 mins... she says she needs to speak with the "Doctor" and will call me RIGHT back. I waited an hr and called back and now I will get a call by the end of the day. I have never felt so disregarded as a patient in my life. i have never felt as if I am just putting my health (not my only issue I have a more serious issue as well.) in the hands of people who could careless about me or my wellbeing. This is what I will say. After I get my results from some tests and labs from here I will be finding elsewhere for the future unless I get some actual results today."
